  1. You have to love the end of the world idiots who believe a dynamic system like the climate, with thousands of variables, is all controlled by a single parts per million gas. Remember that all the carbon on earth came out of the air and all indications are that when the CO2 level was 100? times higher, the earth was very lush.

  2. CTV’s Kevin Newman is in full agreement. Tweeted ” I wonder what Al Gore is thinking right now”. What a twit.

  3. I used to read financial engineering news. I remember that insurance costs was up due to location and increased value, not weather. (this is ~8 years ago). It was technically very clear and straight forward.
However, it is an industry publication. There was always wording that implied that risk would go up and people would need the fine tools of financial engineers to plan their finances. There just wasn’t any support for actual, and predictable changes in actual weather. There still isn’t.
It’s disappointing that such a fashion taken over the world. In the NY Times Kevin Trenbeth claimed that 10% of the energy in Sandy could have been from global warming. He’s part of the team, but also is a solid analyst. He knows that simply isn’t plausible– well maybe plausible, in the sense that anything is possible and monkeys might fly out of your ass while you read this.
Much of the team likely believes their own bullshit, but this kind of lie, not even an undergrad could believe this.
