  1. There go our intellectual betterds again. Confusing weather with climate. The only problem is,they are stealing our money with this scam, and of the 69%,half are probably so stuck on stupid, they’ll vote for the Zero.God help us.

  2. I was just logging on to SDA to tell you about this, knowing you would encourage everyone to get out and vote, and you beat me to it.
So get out and vote everyone.

  3. Every poll of this sort should also include a question about whether pi is a rational number, with the options: yes, no, and what’s a rational number?
The responses would indicate the quality of the population responding to the survey.

  4. It’s 55% stupid; 45% sane at the moment.
I can’t believe the stupidity of the comments.

  5. I am always amazed at how all the “so-called” enlightened liberals/socialists can’t figure out that the AGW scam is just a new way to get more taxes out of everyone.
Simply put, politicians hit the proverbial glass ceiling when it came to taxes and so they decided to shift it to “we have to save the planet”.
To fit this new tax grab they found some scientists who put out fraudulent “facts” to dupe these fools into believing we’re killing the planet. It was an easy target considering schools have been blaming us for 30 years for everything “wrong” in the world.
    Useful idiots…very useful idiots.

  6. Stupid is now down to 49% and will probably stay there since that’s the percentage voting for Bambam.

  7. Lefty “news” sources like the US News and my local newspaper have largely run off customers that have any common sense. The average commenter or poll respondent at these sites is now dumber than last year’s bird nest.

  8. 44%-yes, 56%-no. I took a page from the Democrats and voted twice, hope I still go to heaven when I die.

  9. Re: ” A recent report from University of Copenhagen’s Centre for Ice and Climate said hurricanes in the southeast Atlantic have become more frequent over the past 90 years, with more storms in years where water temperature is higher.”
The linked graph from the National Hurricane Centre doesn’t appear to agree with this statement (the National Hurricane centre data appears to be for all named cyclones worldwide) – even more so when cyclonic storms of 100 years ago were certainly not tracked like they have been recently.

  10. It’s currently -32C in Eureka – does anybody think the Inuit believe in “Global Warming”?

  11. Notice how global warming was never mentioned once during the campaign.
The fraudsters are still trying to sell their turbines and electric cars, but they have at least realized that the general public no longer accepts the global warming lie. It’s a step in the right direction.

  12. The NO votes are up at 59 percent.
Better to spend 20 billion cleaning up a once ever 100 years storm,
than have the UN suck 10 trillion out of us for Globular Warming.

  13. To their credit, not all of the usual suspects are blaming horrible humans for Sandy. This allows medium and high information readers to figure who has integrity and who is a charlatan.
The only difference between today and the dark ages is that modern phonies use a Powerpoint program instead of sheep entrails before exploiting a rumbling volcano or comet to claim divine/scientific authority and extort money. I like the term climate opportunism.
On the down side, these people are damaging to science in general.

  14. Hurricanes are still known to the insurance industry as “Acts of God”. I gather there are not too many atheist insurance agents ready to underwrite ‘hurricane damage’…

  18. This is just silly. No one really believes it.
The truth is that Bush, Chaney and Halliburton caused the hurricane to help Romney and their corporate lackeys gain control over the American people. After all, isn’t what they did in New Orleans with Katrina?
“Heck of a job Browney” was a code phrase to telegraph their racist program to the Bilderbergers
and Freemasons. Oh, and the Jews as well.

  19. Discovery Channel is pimping storm Sandy as something that never happened before. Implications alluding to global warming connection are being tossed about with abandon.
You can run around helping stupid polls all you want … but you can’t fix stupid.

  20. What a silly poll. And what a silly pollster. You can vote MULTIPLE TIMES.
Oh, yes, she must be Democrat, so voter-fraud *does not exist*.

  21. A.35.85% Yes
    B.64.15% No
    There’s hope fer us yet…..
According to the global warming hypothesis….the arctic warms first.
Empirical science indicates that weather is when cold air meets warm….the bigger the difference the bigger the storm.
Logic dictates that GLO-BULL warmin’ don’t cause more or more severe weather.
The idiots don’t realize that the so-called warmin’ stopped 17 years ago…..official….

  22. Will they blame global warming for the gazillion rats coming out of their flooded holes looking for higher/dryer ground?

  23. I’m kind of on the limb about about this , but everytime I crawl out there my ass freezes.

  24. Judging by comments over at the CBC there is no need for any poll, the accepted rationale for the storm is “climate change” Some people even cite Al Gore as being prescient in predicting the flooding in Manhatten.

  25. Was Hurricane Sandy caused by global warming?
it was caused by Bush who refused to sign Kyoto
and every time someone votes for Romney, a kitten dies…

How about the latest one I heard……..
    climate justice
what ever the hell that is

  27. I remember the old days on SDA when we would in contemptuous irony claim every snow storm was proof against it in a sarcastic way (Mainly because it drove the warmists nuts into a fury). WE would always have a warming fanatic troll yelling at us one even doesn’t make a pattern. Just so! Have a big Storm though these flakes take it as biblical proof of man made warming . They mean it to.
From lying about polar bears, to mythical Himalayas glaciers melting. Even oceans that NEVER rose.
    Its amusing if nothing else.

  28. As will go the retards, blaming anything that is creative and progressive, that being modern society in general, and being the builders and creators etc. The left so detest the word retard, because of its valid description of themselves, they have worked hard to have it deemed offensive. Was there any wonder why they hate the word. Blaming the weather on the weather and life, most certainly classes one as a retard. You lefties are certifiable, call the padded vans.

  29. Since in the non-scientific world of climate alarmism any and all adverse events are caused by global warming then plainly this storm, oh, and the fact that my dog once threw up on the carpet, are caused by global warming.

  30. C’mon. Everyone who gets up in the morning knows the sun heats the air hence:wind and storms.
But there is hope folks,I’ll get Al Gore on it right away.
