  2. Obama’s bayonet line was prepared in advance because the dems knew the issue of fewer ships would come up. But his responses were delivered in a typical leftist, insulting, condescending manner :’We have aircraft carriers that planes land on.’

  5. Yeah, there are no bayonets in the high tech conference room where you watch the live predator feed or helmet cam video of real soldiers doing the business you then take credit for. Those soldiers actually have bayonets and still use them. What a dick! Nice Commander in Chief you got there! No idea what a bayonet is but sure as shit knows the difference between a nine iron and a sand wedge.

    Those that talk how Romney is ignorant of today’s war stuff are actually the ignorant ones.
    They come from academia where everything is a laboratory case. Real life stuff does not qualify. They mostly deal with hot air, not reality.
    This morning, a university of Calgary wise guy, certain Taras, said the same thing as the white house occupant. Yesterday, Luntz on FOX said that it will be taught in schools for 20 years from now.
    These are the people that went to school for a long time, to learn basically how to talk a lot without saying little and nothing, to impress those that are ignorant.
    You will note the white house occupant talking incessantly regardless what comes out of his mouth, as long as he can use up the opponent’s time.

    In 1916, the US army was 100K plus 100K National Guard. Throw in ancillaries, and you come up well short of the 561K+ that is active today.
    Why isn’t anyone crushing him for blowing off basic US history?

  18. Military people talk about the number of bayonets to differentiate combat troops from the huge number of support troops that have made up armies for the past 100 years. I doubt Obama meant this because he doesn’t know a corpse from a corpsman.

  21. Bayonets are best utilized as crowd control devices, it’s surprising that Obamba doesn’t see the merits in that. Of course as long as their pooping on police cars in front of banks and not the Whitehouse lawn he’s not overly concerned.

  22. Years back, recollect hearing of a drill instructor advising recruit to disharge a round to dislodge a bayonet if it happened to get stuck in a bone.
    I liked the recruit’s response that if he had a round available it was unlikely that he’d have used the bayonet in the first place.

    Other acceptable terms other than “ignorant” include:
    Childish, condescending, silly, non-presidential, grade 4 style of talk, uninformed, desperate, losing it, community organizer talk, hasn’t learned a thing in 4 years level of knowledge, the realization of “I not going to win” reaction.
    Plus, many, many more.

    real time video,
    that the Libyan ambassador and brave American Seals were being killed and CIC chicken-in-chief did nothing.
    He went to bed, waited 7 hours,
    then blamed it on a rogue video.
    Drones overhead could have supported the Seals,
    fired rockets, mini guns,
    given the troops a few extra hours.
    Pres. Makeupshit didn’t even toss them a bayonet.
