Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I guess GMAC is buying the notes? Wow. That’s really stupid. If Fanny and Freddy taught us anything its that their clients don’t pay back their loans. I wonder how many of these are also Freddy/Fanny note holders.
Chevy runs deep all-right,.. deep into debt.
Don’t worry, that should buff out no problem.
Who in their right mind would buy a gubmint motors product anyway?
Only those who are not in their right mind.
Not a problem since cars always go up in value right?
So desperate to sell a few more ObamaCars, I mean Chevy Volts.
Anything to keep the Great Con “I saved the American Auto Indstry” going.
When in fact all Obama did was pay off the UAW pension debts by stealing the Bondholders money. Paying off his supportes . . . Now that is Barry doing the Chicago Politics thingy writ large.
The good news is that bankruptcy looms after November.
GM has a weak product line and is losing its Shirt in Europe with Opel. In order to get product put the door it has been bottom feeding for customers.
As SYF notes bankruptcy could be the result – especially if romney is POTUS. And the result from that could be an invigorated American industry freed of the UAW.
Another Obama favoured company going down the drain and taking government money with it. Obama is slowly destroying America by destroying its corporations and institutions.
Crank up the printing machines Barry somebody has got to pay off these debts incurred by the food stamp segment. Then you can work on getting them all new visa cards.

Yuppers….faster please…..
More and more it seems that OBOZO has the anti-Midas touch….everything turns to $hit.
The latest news is that GM is contemplating
making subprime car loans to sell more cars.
Did GM repay all the loan , er bailout money, …..? Just askin’.
abtrapper –
No, and they never will by design. Plus, GM was permitted by Barry to keep $20 billion of operating loss carry-forwards, meaning, the next $20 billion of GM profit is tax free, compared to say, Apple, FedEx, or any other normal US company, which would be writing a $7 billion dollar check to the US treasury on $20 billion of profit ( 35% ).
abtrapper at July 28, 2012 4:29 PM
Technically GM paid back all the bailout loan with Spendulous money they got from Cap’n WaffleSnarfer.
Then the spent themselves into a hole by building and marketing the *Volts-wagen.
*not to be confused with another more successful car built by a different facist who had a racial chip on his shoulder and was also overly friendly toward Jew-hating Muslims

Brilliant, and dead on!
ROFL!
Oz, that was very good. I agree with eurefugee.
Re: Did they pay back the loan. NO.
Letter from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R) Iowa to Timothy Geithner 22 April, 2010:
“The bottom line seems to be that the TARP loans were “repaid” with other TARP
funds in a Treasury escrow account. The TARP loans were not repaid from money GM
is earning selling cars, as GM and the Administration have claimed in their speeches,
press releases and television commercials. When these criticisms were put to GM’s Vice
Chairman Stephen Girsky in a television interview yesterday, he admitted that the
criticisms were valid:

Housing market all over again. Political pressures to lend money to people who can afford it.
Think I’m going to start my own bank.Oh wait.I’d need the Zero’s other people to do that for me.
Oz….ROFLMAO…execellent.
There is finally a company that will accept 84 post-dated, out-of country, third-party checks for a car.
There’s gonna be a real boom in the repo business.
