To get rid of your new NDP premier. Don’t blow it.

I suspect the WRA has a good chance of forming government after the next election. Everyone I have spoken to is in favour of change. Most loath Redford and rest just want a change.
Redford may win if less than 10% of the vote goes to the NDP & Libs (combined). In other words, if a majority of left votes for Redford’s party, she’ll retain power.
It’s a gamble, but I believe most NDP & Lib voters know that a vote for either one will not elect either one.
Unfortunately, I see the Wild Rose Alliance getting more than 40% of the vote – and losing.
What’s worse, if Redford wins, there’ll be a blueprint for the left to successfully hijack right-of-centre parties.
Here is a 6 part video on the status of Property Rights in Alberta under the old UN Marxist REDford. According to Alberta Landowners, under the PROGRESSIVE’s of Alberta we now have less property rights than any place in the Free World. Please pass around and share with all your contacts in Alberta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fzi0xUPjSY&list=PLD2D7C9639BB2AE65&index=1&feature=plpp_video
Thanks for the WRP link knight99 — will pop over there and make a donation. A WR government in Alberta might have a beneficial effect here in BC when we finally have an election and get a chance to toss the moonbats out.
Considering that the interior of BC seems to be a part of “greater Alberta”, those of us who live in the interior should get a chance to vote for WRP. I’m amazed at how many “Albertans” I see as patients who own homes in BC but spend most of their time working in northern Alberta, have Alberta plates on their vehicles and are Albertan’s for tax purposes. Unfortunately, I’ve been a non-resident of Alberta for too long now to help elect the WRP.
Yea Alberta needs some maintenance, but we have hardly been a failure with this govt when 60 years ago…yada yada

Did I mention that a short time ago Alberta was a debt free jurisdiction under the Klein regime?
Yeah, really it was.
They(the Alberta PCs when there were some.. conservatives among them) even made it illegal for the government to have deficit spending.
Now Alberta has a whopping debt just when western civilization as a whole is circling the bowl, economically speaking.
And where did they spend this money?
ON The Unions!
The Stelmach PCs even publically mused about bringing in a provincial sales tax.
How big do you want Redford’s sales tax to be, bartinsky?
Do you like the idea that the Alberta PCs unilaterally scrapped the royalty regime they had with the private energy sector that Alberta’s economy is built on?
I don’t and the reason is that real Albertans are square dealers with solid values and don’t act like these no count untrustworthy Progressives do.
Alison Redford publically appealed to the ranks of the Alberta Liberal and NDP parties to win the PC leadership.
Redford ought to be in the Alberta NDP not any party with the word conservative in it but here she is and Albertans need to know a vote for her and her party is the same as voting for the Liberals or NDP.
That’s who she is.
Oz
Nicely put.
Nicely done Oz.
You could have mentioned the billions for carbon sequestion (no I don’t really care how it’s spelled) and the cabinet decision to set aside contracts not deemed to be in the public interest, without legislative vote.
Redford shouldn’t be in a party with “conservative” in its name.

Chill out Oz, I dislike mob thinking on any level, and since Danielles hubby is high up in the media she gets a free ride, she was also on the one of only 2 school boards to be disbanded because of infighting in 1999, her piss-boy Wilson is responsible for shoving more colonys down Albertans throats than any other slippery lawyer. I see the need for housekeeping, but the same thing came about in the US in 2008, and that sure has worked out great for them hasn’t it Oz.
@bartinsky
We’re trying to get RID of Obama.
The PC Party has gone rotten. It’s Liberal now.
Bartinsky.
Oh sorry we should just stop and keep everything the same. Silly us.
and since Danielles hubby is high up in the media she gets a free ride
~bartinsky
Free ride my butt!
I’ve seen both Redford and Smith face to face and Smith is a darn sight better looking woman than Redford.
Now take a look at the linked National Post photos and pull the other leg about Smith’s “free ride”.
“but the same thing came about in the US in 2008, and that sure has worked out great for them”
~bartinsky
You’re actually conflating Danielle Smith with Barack Obama?
Do you have ANY idea who Alison Redford is?
The Secretary General of the United Nations Boutros Boutros-Ghali appointed and assigned Alison Redford to a post in the United Nations as a special legal adviser.
Throughout the 1990s, Redford worked as a technical adviser on constitutional and legal reform issues in various parts of Africa for the European Union, the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Canadian Government and the Government of Australia. Her work in Africa focused on human rights litigation, developing education programs and policy reform with respect to gender issues.
If you think, bartinsky, that one of these two women is anything like Barack Obama you’d better think about which one’s life Obama’s life is really more like.
Take a breath Oz, I have a pretty good idea who is what and who is who, I am not saying anything other than looking past the main dish and lets look at the Randy Whites and other fruit loops affiliated with ANY party, I disliked Red Eds MO worse than anyone if you read any of my posts you would see I rode Rob renners ass over his drinking the globull warming kool-aid steady, just saying lets wait to see how the campaign plays out, your not voting tonight Oz.
This from Bell’s
This little gem from Rick Bell, QMI Agency:
‘Let Prins depart with his only memorable public utterance on the argy-bargy offered a few days ago.
“I have done nothing wrong. Why would I give the money back?”’
Somebody feels he’s “entitled to his entitlements”.
Red Allie is going to be seeing red.
Alison Reford’s demeanor starkly reminds me of Nurse Ratched in “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.”
I have thought that too, Paul. They both have the folded lip pursing defect that makes them look like guppies.
Alberta under Red Allision is headed for less $$ times – the retiring boomer gument employees will vote for Wild Rose so they can keep money in the pension kitty, just like they did in Sask when they put in Brad Wall – self interest; they really have no altruist convictions (like caring about the next generation and the ‘good’ union job for all – for all pinkos the ‘care’ stops at their own lifetime) . A terrible irony, IMO but worth the grit just to rid your beautiful province of the misery of being humiliated every day by that fool woman who wants to bring Obama ‘change’ to Alberta. It’s tin nickles – tell her you will keep your guns, your property and your bibles, she can keep the ‘change’.
Cheering for Danielle!

That’s a good point about people putting their money where their mouth is.
Donate a few dollars today to support the WRP and save some big money in the long term.
Having a Liberal/ NDP government raising your tax’s eats up the donation you wished you had made pretty fast.

Listened to Rutherford yesterday when he had Redford on. Did she ever get roasted by the callers! And the increasing annoyance in her voice was also evident. She is done as no one wants premier mom.
I’m not worried about the NDP or the “Liberal voters, they’ll be busy occupying something on election day and too busy to vote.
