Earlier this month a Catholic charity in Wisconsin received a call from abortion provider Planned Parenthood asking them to come pick up some food donations. According to one of the charity workers,
“I politely explained to (the) callers that although we are non-denominational in regards to those we serve, we are a Catholic organization who shares a board of directors with our sister organization, St. Vincent de Paul. We adhere to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and to the Rule of St. Vincent de Paul. I also explained our Gift Acceptance Policy and how acceptance of the donation would compromise our core values and possibly damage the reputation of Paul’s Pantry.”

I suspect, contrary to John’s snotty comment, that the Pantry will continue to feed poor people, without taking unwanted and unrequested handouts from abortion providers (or gangsters). The officials of the Pantry took pains to ensure that the donations would reach the poor through organizations that would have no problem accepting the food.
John just brings to this site the contemptible viciousness of the abortion lobby.

my dearest friend ran the local svdp store for about a year or two.
he managed to organize the merchandise, put the fast moving stuff on display, set up connexions with various recyclers for the rest of it, got the building up to code, etc etc etc.
the svdp brass in Windsor shut the whole thing down and reopened it 6 months later for the *third* time.
while he was there I bypassed a couple passwords on their office computer and dug up some intriguing info.
apparently the people in charge were shipping the very best stuff to used furniture store run by, you guessed it, RELATIVES.
naturally they couldnt have *that* get out thus my friend and his entire staff were sacked to shut them up.

The priesthood has been an odd refuge for homosexuals for centuries. It was one of the few places an unmarried man could go unnoticed and find the company of an all male society in private enclaves.

All religions,I dare say, take money from unsavory characters at one time or another,sometimes unwittingly,but often with full knowledge of who they are getting their donations from.
Some have even suggested that Islamic organizations take donations from people of less than sterling character!

I find it offensive that a group would create a set-up like this in order to compromise an agency that dispenses charity with an even hand. The Charity is not requiring those who are asking for food whether they are pro or no choice, or what religion they belong to. But a group, like Planned Parenthood, that uses the lure of a donation to create embarrassment and then tries to claim foul when they’re called on it, is really sleazy.

And in case you didn’t notice the people who thought it was “okay to bang little kids” were homosexual pedophiles who infiltrated the clergy — 99% percent of the cases were homosexual. I can say with quite a bit of certainty that it is a minority of priests in the Catholic faith that “bang little kids”. Now if you look at the “religion of peace” AKA islam, there is a rampant amount of sexual abuse of boys due to the belief that sex with women should be for procreation only. If they want to have sex for fun that is done with other males. Unfortunately, those other males tend to be young boys as they are not as masculine as adult males. I’m pretty sure you won’t be shouting that from the minaret anytime soon since it would probably contradict many of your “beliefs”.
