I heard that it was proposed that the office of Elections Canada could come in and ensure the integrity of the count…however, once that was suggested, however, immediate objections against were filed against their use.
Everyone was well aware of their bias and didn’t want to risk the outcome of the convention by having ‘undesirable’ policies make it into their platform.

Andrew Coyne does not need to be drafted to the Liberal Party. He declared himself at the last Federal Election. He’s a die hard Liberal and he has a brain. Certainly a rare find.
