  2. At time it seems to me that this juggernaut called Climate Change is almost too big to stop. There are so many people that have invested their reputations, not to mention their pension plans in support of it, that it’s going to be hell to change. Even watching the Senate during the presentation, the arrogance of the Deputy Chair rang through and I can only hope that the rest of the Senators have the stones to stand up to him and his backers.

    The AGW is dead, that is not even a reasonable question. Those that think otherwise flat line themselves. The only issue is the status of Science and it may die for >200 years…

  6. There is hundreds of potential billions moving above and below the surface of the climate change movement. Does anyone really expect them to admit the whole thing was a scam and they knew all along that a .038% trace gas could actually have no bearing on global warming ?. Not a hope. They will fight tooth and nail to keep riding this gravy train. No money in admitting that the sun might influence temperatures. It’s all about the money and the gullible Gore/Suzuki faithful. There will probably never be another opportunity to tax biilions on nothing and they all smell the money.

  7. I find it amazing that gibbering idiot senators like Mitchell and Massicote always fall back on the argument of overwhelming consensus. I have yet to see any warming scientist come forward to face real scientists like these good people in debate and provide legitimate counteracting numbers of their own. The little numbers I have seen presented over the past few years have either been shown to be false, fraudulent or erroneous at best. Instead I hear about this so called overwhelming consensus amongst scientists that man is causing global warming. Even this argument of overwhelming consensus amongst scientists I believe to be highly suspect. Where are these overwhelming consensus scientists? Who are these overwhelming consensus scientists? I want to see a list dammit! With their names of these overwhelming consensus scientists along with their arguments for man made global warming!

  12. A massive fraus has been perpetrated upon western governments and citizens – the guilty parties will be brought to justice soon. Sooozoook should get used to striped wardrobes. The climate fraud and its subsequent racketeering have greatly polarized western society. This is an issue of “us against them” with them being the political establishment and its attendant NGOs, patrons and crony capitalist camp followers. Climate change policies are all aligned in controlling, cendoring, robbing and disenfranchising us. Pretty good reason to fight against the fraud mongers tooth and nail.

  15. Kate SDA delivers the goods. I watched this whole thing on CPAC the day of the meeting. The same day I wrote my MP and the Chair of the Senate Committee for transcripts, and here less than 10 days later you have the whole thing up on SDA, and they haven’t even responded yet to my request. You and SDA are simply the best. They dismantled the AGW and the Climate Change freaks slice by slice. I enjoyed watching the petulant socialist Senator Mitchell squirm and give it his best shot, the senior Professor, took him to task for his vapid comments at the end of the 2 hours. He deliberately gave up his speaking position, so as to try and stick his knife in at the very end. But it did not work. The co-chair is Senator Mitchell, the former Leader of the Alberta Liberal Party, appointed by Martin I believe, after years in the weeds in Alberta, lying in the shade and stinking like weasel sh*t he finally made it to gravy heaven in the Senate. But by the time he got there, Harper had taken over the Senate… Priceless. This video shoulod be sent to every MP and MLA in Canada, and they should be told by the taxpayers to FO or get out. Cut off all funding to the UN on this nonsense, start rounding up the Fraudsters and start putting them in Harpers new Shiny Jails….

  16. Thanks for posting. Hope you are not being unreasonably scrutinized by the RCMP.
    We are slowly winning this battle. While evidence is helpful, the biggest driver for change on climate policy is the economy. Countries just do not have the $ to support this much longer. And that is making previously duped politicians and citizens rethink this issue.

    There are Liberals in Alberta? So it’s not paradise then, I guess.

  19. Gawd, that Grant Mitchell is a puke! He either couldn’t understand the science or chose to ignore it. Rather than ask a question relevant to the testimony, he chose, instead, to pontificate on the “science” of the “tens of thousands” of scientists (like Al Gore?) who are sure we’re all doomed. I’m thinking now he’s just too stupid to understand the issue. He was an ignorant prick when he was Liberal leader in Alberta. It seems Ottawa has made him even more obnoxious.
    Interesting, too, that the graphics weren’t available for broadcast because they weren’t bilingual. So because there’s apparently a perceived need to translate line graphs and pie charts into French, nobody gets to see them.

    1) Absolutely shocked to see TransCanada Pipe buying + $500 worth of Ontario wind farms. Is the alternative to pipe in the ground? Very sad.
    2) Stratfor’s essay on the American empire and its future was a veery interesting read. A particular comment about the irrelvency of the UN and how likely it was that it would be thrown on the garbage pile stuck out. I am reading more and more positive comment about Ameerica’s future if or when they can rid themselves of Obama and the mindset that he promotes.

  21. Think of the medical research, the hospitals, the roads and bridges, the arenas etc that could have been built with the money that has gone into this modern day tulip bulb SCAM. Mitchell was always a puke here in Alberta and it took another puke, Martin to recognize his pukiness and reward him with liberal utopia, the senate. The Sun, I will repeat, it is the sun there senators, nothing else can warm this planet, do you morons not have furnaces in your houses, heaters in your cars? Dopes like Mitchell probably believe they can sit in a cold car and “fart” their surroundings warmer, unreal there are people this stupid that are free.

  22. Funny, I don’t recall seeing any coverage of the testimony of these scientists in the consensus media. I must have missed it. Surely they would have reported the views of scientists working in a field that has such importance for public policy. >sarcasm off

  23. I should have added that our understanding of these presentations is hobbled to a degree by our inability to see the charts these scientists are using. As usual, the problem is bilingualism. The Senate cannot allow the broadcast of any documents that are not in both French and English. But the Senator themselves are obviously special. They get to see the unilingual charts that would be just too much for our tender sensibilities. Ahh the benefits of bilingualism.

    Conservative administrations here and in the US, tend to hire bureaucrats on merit and avoid purging the leftie bureaucrats….
    The lefty have no such scruples. They purge the civil service of those who do not follow the party line and only hire their own.
    The “scandal” of the Bush administration hiring 7-8 lawyers, out of 80-90, who were not lefties over an 8 year period…contrasting with Holders DOJ filling 113 positions with 113 lefties.
    The net result is the civil service/bureaucracy becomes a leftist bastion of sabateurs of the conservative administrations.
    What the Senator Mitchell is saying is “our appointees support us. So there!”
    It is situations like this that make Oliver Cromwell seem rational…….

    Interesting (and scary) that the chair referred to Senator Mitchell as the only “scientist” on the Senate Committee. His Master of Arts research into the effects of education reorganization on the communities of Manitoba and New Brunswick hardly qualifies him as a “Scientist” unless you’re willing to accept a very broad definition of the term Political Scientist. The grandiosity of this exaggeration is further exemplified by the Chair’s reference to Senator Mitchell as “Professor”.

  27. Hopefully all the posters here will take the couple of minutes to send a letter to the PM, the Enviroment Minister your MP, MLA and Premier to tell them to end the Fraud.     Please. Let’s not overindulge in wishful thinking. This is NOT going to happen, will never even enter the mind of the current PM.
    We live in a “civilized” society,with a very civilized elite in charge. They will rant on against each other,especially during election campaigns,but they have a “gentleman’s agreement” to NEVER truly prosecute each other.
    Occasionally,they’ll put on a show,such as “Gomery” or “Mulroney/Screiber”, to satisfy the peasants and calm our fears that we don’t live in a Country that has Rule of Law,but that is the extent of action that will be taken.
    This Government,and any subsequent Government,is in league with the AGW advocates,at least as far as the ability to TAX is concerned,so they will dither and obfuscate until Hell freezes over before they will EVER declare AGW a dead issue.
    Conservatives,Liberals,Greens,and NDP’ers may have philosophical differences,but when it comes to our tax money,they are singing in total harmony.
    Expect this Commission report to be filed under “no action required”,as it fades from the public memory like the last “Li-Lo” or “Paris” moment.

    Perhaps she was instrumental in organizing this Senate hearing. Although she would not have intentionally exposed Senator Mitchel, this is exactly what happened.
