If you watch old footage of 60’s hippies and their complaints, they did not make much sense back then either but they had a lot more elaborate vocabulary than today’s kids…regress.
The only thing I agree with them is within their protest song “We are not going anywhere!”…No that movement ain’t going nowhere.
Although mother nature will take care of this gang of freaks shortly; with colder temps will see the hippy pups retreat in mom’s warm basement soon enough…And upstairs to raid the fridge.

The quote of the day, however, goes to the bespectacled ‘student activist’: “If you have a tonne of student debt like me, you should be here.”
And how, pray-tell, did you amass said tonne of debt, young radical leftard? Was it foisted upon you by the evil corporations, or did you of your own desire and prerogative heap it upon yourself?
A model for a new society? A collective? If you want to see a radical left movement, you should be here. Hmmm, where have I heard this before? March 1917?
One of the most striking things I noticed while watching this video is how physically dirty they look compared to the Tea Partiers.
Bunch of hypocrites and leeches. Look at how they can’t live without the laptops and phones from those “evil” corporations, even when their bumming around on the street instead of being productive like the rest of us.

Most I would not give a job to. And that is their biggest problem right there.
Just as I thought. You whiners that complain about the banks are capable of doing just that – whining. These young people in the streets of lower Manhatten have at least got the courage to do something about the evil that lurks in the financial system. You have the courage to whine. And you even come to the defence of Wall Street when it is confronted with demonstrations that attack its greed. You are all a bunch of gutless, right-wing, whiners who seem to want corruption and the worst excesses of the financial system to succeed.
How is what they are doing courageous? How are they putting themselves in danger?
You hear that everybody? Sleeping in the streets, marching around while playing bongos and chanting pointless slogans is “doing something”.
Funny how the bums demonstrating against “corporate greed” are the same idiots who advocate for greedy socialist policies like abolishment of debt, guaranteed living wage, and free college education.
We don’t want the corruption of the financial system to succeed Darryl. But we certainly don’t want the corruption and oppression of socialism/communism to replace it.

They have no specific cause or goal. They have no strong leadership … just that Marxist POS and pal of Obama’s … Van Jones. He is playing cheer leader without uttering anything coherent.

It’s hard to argue with the reasoning of the first narrator. The US is in the grip of foreign corporatism/investors which has bought government influence to protection/captive markets/tax shelters. The US markets haven’t seen laissez-faire capitalism since the turn of the 20th century. Crony capitalism was the way FDR worked the “new deal” and it has grown into an economic system. Government has devolved to being nothing more than a coercive vehicle for the agendas of powerful vested interests, warring political factions and crony insiders, it has abandoned its original purpose as the protector of the property, liberty, rights and self-determination of the individual. The US is now undergoing a transition to a max security surveillance marshal state – it’s all true.
The tea party sees this as well and has this in common with these people. But the solutions differ. Tea Party constitutional populists want far less government, they want the big government genie put back in its constitutional bottle – and they want to be left alone to rebuild America’s economy free of government greed. These Zombie gen collectivists just want to help themselves to the larger part of the treasury and clip out the corporate beak-dippers. They want to make government bigger to provide for all their needs and to use its power to bludgeon anyone who disagrees with this klepto utopia. Same optics of the problem but day and night solutions.

Naw, the 60s protests were fueled by powerful hallucinogens and ass-cracker dope, Marxist campus indoctrinating and agitation of well off suburban kids looking to piss off their parents generation.
This new lot of latter day hippies hasn’t the excuse of recreational drug use or academic misdirection – their nativity is all self-imposed and face book driven. I feel sorry for them because they are the first generation since the depression that face 20% unemployment. Yet they allow themselves to be the willing dupes of a political party agitation arm (dem-acorn) that preys on their stupidity yet feeds the corporate welfare oligarchy while it ships their jobs to China by over regulating domestic business/industry. Zombie Generation take the red pill and see that government is the problem not the solution.

It’s a cult gathering of the useful idiots; there is nothing much more than that to it on their behalf anyway.
These people are easily manipulated, therefore powerful and cunning people manipulate them. The first step is to appeal to their base emotions, because they are “emotional” personalities and fall for emotional triggers like drug addicts getting a fix.
Once they are hooked on a cultic ideology they become fanatical, oblivious of the harm to themselves or whoever else pays the price for their failed logic. Whoever else happens to be everyone should they ever succeed in “crashing the system”. Their Hippy/ Marxist counterparts in the 60’s have already brought us to the brink of collapse via all the “progressiveness” in our society.
There is a reason China will one day be the world’s major superpower. It’s not because of collectivism or touchy feely love for its people either, yet these people praise Mao and Marx believing that the Chinese will somehow develop some sort of spiritual love or Atheist justice for all its citizens and share the wealth. I guess that’s why we as Canadians still send financial, technical and food aid to many parts of China today while they build space stations and aircraft carriers.

I was always worried if’n I had enough ammo for the coming revolution, having seen this, I suspect you could put the run on the lot them with a bar of soap and a pressure washer.
