Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Obama lied, people died
I’d like to be the first to say:
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Lefties, how do you like your boyz now?
It’s time to let the grown-ups back into the office because play time has been very destructive since 2008.
We’re about to see how much love there really is for the Obama administration.
Operation F & F is “Watergate” caliber machinations by the WH,and if the Press does their job……
If a tree falls in the forest………..
The MSM is desperatly suppressing this scandal.
Much like the Solydra affair…widespread public knowledge is lacking.
PJM and the internet is having an impact but MSM reaction has been limited to attacking the “ways and means committee”, chairman Issa and Grassely as dishonest partisans.
In a perfect world this would be devastating politically for OBOZO and the DemcRATs….but ain’t a perfect world.
Tain’t right….tain’t wrong…it just is…….
I expect exactly zero change in attitude from Obama fans over this. Zero.
This isn’t just an election coming up here in the U.S. We’re at war. Just because some lieutenant goes off the reservation doesn’t change support of the cause.
They have no morals. You have to remember that.
Holder lied? He must have been taking lessons from McLiar in Ontario.
He can’t lie, he can’t be bad, he can’t be prosecuted for anything.
He’s black. If you say anything he doesn’t like it means YOU are a racist.
Thus speaketh Obamassiah.
Canada will have to build a huge frigging bus to throw this asshole under..
Americas Chief Law Enforcement Office-
4 more years with 3 off for good behavior..
–
good riddance..
“Operation F & F is “Watergate” caliber machinations by the WH…”
Watergate didn’t have a body count–this outdoes Watergate by quite a bit.
The CBC will break this news in November, of 2013.
Just like his boss, Holder is utterly incompetent and arrogant in the extreme. And just like his boss, the country will be far better off when he is out of a job.
The will get away with it. The Obama is untouchable.
If the first black president of the USA falls in the election, will the MSM let anyone hear about it?
HE gets dozens of memos a week and doesn’t read them all?!?!?!
I get dozens of memos a week and am expected to read each one. But then again I’m an engineer for a mid sized company, not the AG of the USA so perhaps the memos I get about safety safety are a plant 1500miles away are more important…
He gets dozens of emails like this every week, and he doesn’t always read them all???? Poor overworked fellow! I am a lowly school teacher. As part of my job, I get dozens of emails every DAY that relate to my duties. I read them all, and respond to all that require it. Most of the SDA nation has to juggle a lot more than I do – merely having dozens of emails a week would be like a holiday for them. This guy is in a major leadership role, and has emails from senior staff that he doesn’t read?? Can he even spell malpractice, incompetence, or dereliction of duty? And his apologists actually believe that “not reading all those pesky emails full of unimportant things like the details of what your department is actually doing” is a valid excuse?? When I think of how diligent many great leaders are, his response disgusts me.
If there were an independent and relatively unbiased press in the US, then, of course, this and other scandals would have made the Obama administration a contemptible laughing stock ages ago,(assuming he’d even been elected at all given his abject lack of qualification and the company he kept). But the MSM is like the ref in WWE — part of the script, calls out the moves and sees or doesn’t see exactly what he/it is or isn’t supposed to see. One has to view the MSM in the US as simply an NGO of the Democrat party. Like the ref in WWE, they’ll call fouls only as far as is necessary to front the charade. Beyond that — “I see nothink, nothink!”
From the start this has got to rank up there with the stupidest ideas ever. No wonder he is lying.
What did the Attorney General know, and when did he know it?
Perhaps, the Mexican government could ask the International Court at the Hague to issue an arrest warrant. It would name for the ATF and others Obama officials responsible for this crime against humanity.
The ATF could also be added to the Interpol list of international terrorist groups.
Why does Soetoro get such a pass by the MSM?
Is it because he is black? (Just half remember)
Is it because he is a Democrat?
Is it because idealistically, he is anti american?
Imagine Herman Cain in the same position…Would the skin color (All black) trump the party affiliation and/or the pro business idealism?
“He gets dozens of memos a week and doesn’t read them all”
When I was on senior staff, I got to work at 7:00am to read the night’s messages and condense them for an 8:30am briefing to my superiors. If I had left out something as critical as gunrunning I would have been cashiered along with my boss – he didn’t have to read everything but he was responsible for having the important facts. As Harry S Truman said, “The buck stops here”; the Obama Whitehouse should accept that.
Wonder if Holder can read? So he gets dozens of memo’s/week and can’t read them all!? The possibilities are:
(a) he lied under oath
(b) He can’t read
(c) He reads so slowly that he’s totally overwhelmed
In any case he should be either dismissed or prosecuted for perjury. This is incompetence on an unbelievable scale.
I often get over 100 lab results and consultation letters from specialists on a busy day and I read them all. If I miss something serious, that constitutes malpractice. Maybe among blacks on welfare the excuse might seem reasonable but anyone who works in a job where information processing is a large part of the job, the excuse will be seen as either an admission of perjury or admission of total incompetence for the position of AG.
Loki
I’m good with (a)…Holder is now claiming he misunderstood the question…

Did you ever notice that the ATF only gets involved in these scandals with huge body counts when a Democrat resides in the Whitehouse?
(Waco/F&F)
Meanwhile, this morning on “Morning Joe,” the putative conservative talks about Mexican gun violence with US guns and blames it on our gun laws.
“Robertson speaks of the universality of the “eight laws,” and that his solutions could “save our world.” He calls for an International Year of Jubilee where all of the world’s debts would be cancelled as the start of a new worldwide economic system. He paints a picture of a better world — a utopia on earth brought about by man’s own efforts rather than by the return of Jesus.”
Maybe they grew up on the 700 Club….

Wrong thread :&
The ATF should suffer the same fate as Holder.
Interesting datum, the reporter is CBS News Sharyl Attkisson. She says she is the -only- reporter working this gig, and that a White House spokesworm screamed and swore at her. The broad from the Justice dept. only “shouted”.
That was on the Laura Ingraham show today, here’s the transcript and audio:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/cbs-news-reporter-says-white-house-screamed-swore-her-over-fast-and-furious_595011.html
My only question is, since when did CBS News grow a pair? Unless they are in -Hillary’s- pocket instead of Barry’s, that would explain it.

Maybe Sharyl Attkisson knows the MSM has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana peal so she aspires to someday be a world class blogger like Kate or Ace.
🙂

Good catch Phantom,,, I listened to that Laura interview earlier today and couldn’t help but wonder (in amazement actually) that CBS was running with this. I’ll be amazed if she isn’t gagged real quick by the network.
People have been hung for lesser infractions. DOJ and Holder are in this one deep. If it truly hits the fan and Holder is indicted, he keeps his mouth shut because a presidential pardon has already been set up.
I’m just guessing here.
Holder will go down as the most corrupt, infantile Attorney General America ever produced. A Marxist stooge. Not even a smart one. No sweat though. The MSM will cover this up as they have all else. History though will not be kind to these swine.
As much as I enjoy a good Dem scandal, why in this case have conservatives and Republicans decided that, “people don’t kill people, guns kill people.” Not that it’s a good idea to arm the Mexican terrorists, but when we say that Holder is responsible for all of the deaths associated with a certain inventory of hardware, we sound a lot like the Brady Campaign folks. No?
ChrisMcK said: “…when we say that Holder is responsible for all of the deaths associated with a certain inventory of hardware, we sound a lot like the Brady Campaign folks. No?”
No. Selling guns to guys you -know- are drug cartel (and they did know) is different than selling a gun to Joe Sixpack which might later be stolen by some drug cartel weenie.
If it can ever be proved that F&F was in fact a policy embraced by the Oblameya administration to subvert the 2nd amendment right to bear arms, then impeachment would be too kind.
This is just the sort of policy Alinskyites would swallow as justified.
Let me rephrase. To say the ATF is responsible for the deaths of the people shot with the guns sold by the ATF suggests that the victims would still be alive if not for the actions of the ATF. This is liberal, Brady Campaign-style reasoning.
Not to say that it wasn’t a bad crime, evil, worthy of an accusation of contributory negligence, impeachment, etc. But Conservatives should not assert or believe that guns cause murder.

“””why in this case have conservatives and Republicans decided that, “people don’t kill people, guns kill people.””””
this is such a re-dick-u-lASS statement that it warrents it’s own comic corner
nobody has stated such, we condem a person, Holder, and he may be the son-of-a-gun, butt he is NO big shot

Very true.
Rules for Radicals
-Saul Alinsky 1971
Rule 1: Power is not only what you have, but what an opponent thinks you have. If your organization is small, hide your numbers in the dark and raise a din that will make everyone think you have many more people than you do.
Rule 2: Never go outside the experience of your people.
The result is confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 3: Whenever possible, go outside the experience of an opponent. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat.
Rule 4: Make opponents live up to their own book of rules. “You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.”
Rule 5: Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It’s hard to counterattack ridicule, and it infuriates the opposition, which then reacts to your advantage.
Rule 6: A good tactic is one your people enjoy. “If your people aren’t having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic.”
Rule 7: A tactic that drags on for too long becomes a drag. Commitment may become ritualistic as people turn to other issues.
Rule 8: Keep the pressure on. Use different tactics and actions and use all events of the period for your purpose. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this that will cause the opposition to react to your advantage.”
Rule 9: The threat is more terrifying than the thing itself. When Alinsky leaked word that large numbers of poor people were going to tie up the washrooms of O’Hare Airport, Chicago city authorities quickly agreed to act on a longstanding commitment to a ghetto organization. They imagined the mayhem as thousands of passengers poured off airplanes to discover every washroom occupied. Then they imagined the international embarrassment and the damage to the city’s reputation.
Rule 10: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative. Avoid being trapped by an opponent or an interviewer who says, “Okay, what would you do?”
Rule 11: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. Don’t try to attack abstract corporations or bureaucracies. Identify a responsible individual. Ignore attempts to shift or spread the blame.
According to Alinsky, the main job of the organizer is to bait an opponent into reacting. “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.”
We’re using the enemy’s rule book against him.
It doesn’t matter if we understand that ‘people kill people’ rather than ‘guns killing’ people as the progessives misbelieve.
Because the enemy’s base thinks otherwise, we want to undercut the base or at least poison this particular meme that the enemy has been feeding his base by using it against them.
All in all, the Obama regime used the ATF to make straw purchases and run guns to Mexican Warlords hoping that many of the guns would come back to the U.S. and then use the “guns kill people” meme to strip the American people of their 2nd Amendment right to bear arms.
Turnabout is fair play.
(since when did CBS News grow a pair?)
Who knows?
But now that we have Eric Holder
(the top law enforcement officer in America),
and the DOJ by the balls.
Don’t ever turn loose to look for a better grip..
ChrisMck said: “Let me rephrase. To say the ATF is responsible for the deaths of the people shot with the guns sold by the ATF suggests that the victims would still be alive if not for the actions of the ATF. This is liberal, Brady Campaign-style reasoning.”
Yes, that would be Brady-style “logic”. One cannot know if a particular person would have been shot anyway, but with a different gun sourced from a different seller.
But that’s not what Holder is being accused of. He’s done something worse. He has created a program that deliberately armed a known criminal group in a foreign country. And not just -any- country, but an Allie and direct neighbor of the United States.
What Holder and friends have done is more properly called treason. Imagine if you will the sh1t-storm that would follow if it is discovered the Mohawk Warriors Society of Caledonia fame got lots of arms under the Fast&Furious program. Now imagine they went around killing a couple thousand people in Ontario the last three or four years. With those guns.
That’s what Holder is accused of.
Do the cartels have other sources of arms? Probably. As good as they can get over the counter in Arizona and Texas? No way.
Congressman: With Fast and Furious, administration officials might be accessories to murder
“We’re talking about consequences of criminal activity — where we actually allowed guns to walk into the hands of criminals — where our livelihoods are at risk,” Gosar said in a phone interview. “When you facilitate that and a murder or a felony occurs, you’re called an accessory. That means that there’s criminal activity.”
http://hotair.com/archives/2011/10/05/congressman-with-fast-and-furious-administration-officials-might-be-accessories-to-murder/
Do not let go of this.
Phantom: “Do the cartels have other sources of arms? Probably. As good as they can get over the counter in Arizona and Texas? No way.”
Precisely right. The focus should be on the act, the intent, the difference the program made, the facilitation of the murders. Not direct blame for the deaths like Michael Walsh in the NY Post and NRO:
“with two, possibly three dead agents and more than 200 dead Mexicans to show for an operation that never had the slightest chance of success.”
That’s going to far and blaming the deaths directly on the gun suppliers, not on the murderous terrorists who manage to kill thousands of people in many creative ways, with or without guns from the US.
That’s going to far and blaming the deaths directly on the gun suppliers
a few weeks ago this was a tin foil conspiracy theory. wha happen?
