Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

My dream is to see Ron Paul win the nomination with Herman Cain & Chris Christie as chosen dual VPs.
Cain Rubio, Cain Christie, or even Cain Palin?
Anything is better than the Soros owned office temp, our marxist in chief.
Oh, adn before i forget:
No RINO’s!
That is what is going to kill ON on thursday, a CINO.
Sounds like Alberta just got another one too.
More’s the pity.
Just say no to RINO’s!
Were I American Cain would be number one for me. He not only speaks the truth, is not afraid of speaking the truth, but he has proved himself as a successful self-made man. Furthermore not being a professional politician is a huge plus.
Cain is for real…I support him, but I’m guessing he probably won’t make it. Also, Rubio’s not natural born, but is a fine and capable man. If you want him in the top jobs, you’ll have to change the Constitution.
Heh, a recommendation from Maudlin Miller is like the crack of doom for poor Hermie – white bread GOP radio jocks do not promote populist candidates. So we know both Hermie and Miller will never make it to a Tea Party rally. I’m wondering what Miller’s interest is in Hermie – perhaps his love affair with high tax bracket tax shelters.
Frankly I don’t know how a guy like Miller ever got popular with Conservatives – no on air talking head has been so blank on the causes of the republic’s decline as Miller. I think he toked too much in college and missed too many economics classes. It isn’t America’s tax system that’s the problem it’s the fact that the two parties in Washington are like tweedle dee and tweedle dumber, flip sides of the same corrupted nanny state coin.
I’d like Miller to ask his buddy Hermie if he had presidential veto power would he would fold both the social and corporate welfare state or just one of them. But these are questions RINOs never ask other RINOs.
If Cain is the GOP candidate, Obama will drop out. Even an ego-maniac like Obama knows Cain will wipe the floor with him in the debates and I think he’ll take the low raod and chicken out.
This will also pave the way for Shrillary Clinton to make another go at it.
I thought before that at some point, her thighness would get in, but now I don’t think so.
Jim Crane posts: “Also, Rubio’s not natural born, but is a fine and capable man. If you want him in the top jobs, you’ll have to change the Constitution.”
I don’t know what you mean by “natural”, but, Rubio was born in Miami, Florida.(His parents were not).
You don’t have to change any stinking consititution.
Or fudge the issue, like a Kenyan Muslim.
Obs…by that thinking, an anchor baby could be the prez.
JC: I’m inclined to give Rubio’s American birth and his parent’s immigration reasons crediblity.
I don’t think someone fleeing Castro’s tyranny and their subsequent progeny as an “anchor baby”.
And I’m not a supporter or opponent of Rubio.
I’d love to see Cain/Rubio ticket. Two honest men. Wow, what a concept.
I like this guy Cain, he tells it as it.
The canadian media will think that he is more white in a black birthday suit than black in a politic correctness sense.
Cain may “tell it like it is” …. but I am sick to death of that meaningless phrase about “truth to power” … even if its intent is ironic… the phrase itself is the product of the moronic .
Cain is dead in the water. There is only one black God,and her butt and the Muzzie she married is running the USA down the tubes. To bad. Cain would probably be a great CINC.
Well, I’m still grieving over Michele Bachmann’s implosion, viz., her moronic statement about Gardisil causing adult retardation ‘cos some woman told her after a speech. Automatic disqualification, sadly!
Somewhere today, I saw a clip of Cain on Leno. Word association game with Leno supplying the repub candidates names. What struck me is how totally NATURAL the guy was. Romney: nice hair. Hunt: same tie McCain wore. AND, Ron Paul, grumpy old man. Man I laughed.
Here’s the thing: I believe Cain could sit down with the most hostile MSM agent and do a good job — even win them over. It’s very hard not to like Cain. This guy could be — just could be — the de-polarizer America so desperately needs.
And this cracked me up: Leno asked him what the deal was with Trump … he’s doesn’t have delegates, etc. Cain said, ‘well he’s got a BIG MIC … the worst thing to happen to you would be for Trump to say, Cain? who’s that?
Absolutely amazing to hear him call Obama on his “class war” tactics.
I’ve like Cain since I first did some learnin about him in 2010. That said, he is very very weak on foreign policy. That doesn’t mean he can’t and hasn’t brushed-up; but it does mean he’s not the best qualified person in the running.
Since the first big debate with Rick Perry, I’ve been very unimpressed with RP’s intellectual component to his reasoning. His answers are often correct, but his reasoning and inability to articulate his reasoning is woefully lacking. Mitt Romney is kicking his butt.
IMO the best prepared to be POTUS is Newt. About two years ago I called for a Newt/Palin ticket, but I’d settle for Newt/Cain. OF course with Newt electability comes into play which will stop his winning the nomination in the end. Too bad!
Reading the tea leaves, I believe the final outcome will be a Romney/Cain power ticket. Mitt Romney has been the strongest all around candidate besides Newt. He has also alluded to his admiration of Cain in the debates, and is a natural fit.
Time will tell, but I’m very comfortable with either Romney or Gingrich as POTUS with Cain or Rubio (I suggest it will be Cain) on a ticket. I believe that Perry will fall out of the top tier by the end of the year and Newt will overtake Cain as Romney’s main competitor with Romney winning it all in the end. Newt would be an ideal VP for Romney… but… he’s the wrong color/gender/sexual orientation for the VP ticket. If you run a cracker for POTUS you’d better have a minority on the ticket. JMO
Cain and some RINO for VP.

“I’ve like Cain since I first did some learnin about him in 2010. That said, he is very very weak on foreign policy”
Maybe, but it has not stopped the current seat warmer in the White House much.
And when Cain has spoken on foreign issues, he has sounded light years better and brighter than the Soros owned office temp.
I have been a Cain fan of maybe the last six weeks, but a sharp enough mind with business savvy is preferential to Chicago honed scheming skills anyday.
Jim Crane: please get your facts straight before stating mistruths: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_Rubio
PS I deliberately chose “Truth to Power” to make Leftards eat one of their own stupid slogans!!!
The more the MSM spews their lies about this guy, running him down. The more they call him a bigot for speaking out on real serious issues. The bigger in my eyes he becomes.
Meanwhile all the Elitist rest, shill for Obama no matter what he does or says. Tells me all I need to know.
Tis guy is a real American. Not an Indonesian Import that grew up in an atmosphere most of his life, in a Nation that hated America.
All he owns is a piece of paper & a horde of Marxist buddies, with a Kapo called Soros as his back door man.
I’d vote for anyone running against Obama, but Cain’s responses to a question always sound prep’d to me. He does good, but his answers seem like they are not his thought but rather mimicked. Just my view.
Cain reminds me of Reagan, in his sincerity, his ideas, his intelligence, and willingness to be his own, rather than the Party’s man. I have a hunch many blacks would discover Cain was the real deal, and would abandon Obama in droves; which on it’s own would produce a 40 plus stare landslide.
Perry, who was the best candidate on offer so far has been thrown under the bus, by conservatives no less. Makes me sick. Cain is next to be thrown under the bus, both by conservatives and the media.
Romney will be the last man standing, and his chances of beating Obama are not good.
Cain has a master’s degree in Computer Science, and for that reason alone I like him. What a refreshing change it would be to have someone with a degree in the sciences running the country. But I’m sceptical he will make it because lately conservatives have had this terrible habit of eating their own. I realize many are hungering for something better than what is on offer, but you have to work with what you’ve got.
‘”truth to power” … even if its intent is ironic… the phrase itself is the product of the moronic .”
Like so many things the left does, they have hijacked and then abused a perfectly good phrase.
Cain/Rubio is a dream ticket in many ways. Cain severly weakens black support for obama and white sympathy support for obama (which was a very big element in his 2008 win). Rubio does similar things to the spanish bloc and he delivers florida. And, of course they are both solid with the tea party and terrific orators.
The real thing to watch in the short-term isn’t the potus race but the wrangling over the early primary dates. If florida proceeds with very early date all hell could break lose and the door could close for palin and christie and guiliani. Also an early florida date would be very favourable for cain over romney and perry.
The one thing cain needs now is money – lots of it. That, and some polling that shows him building strength in the rust belt states.
This thing is swinging far too quickly. Z up X down Yup Z down.
Cain is black & again everyone is desperate to not be racist like that rock in Texas.
He loves himself some TV interviews & has already shown he is only too willing to agree with the talking heads if he thinks they like him.
Flattery will be his downfall. Yes I know I have criticized a black man.
The race card is still in play but having Cain as a candidate will not affect OBOZO’s implacable support by much of the black vote….which is a culture of dependence thanks to the DemocRATs….
Fortunately, the vast majority of white voters is more or less post racial, at least they think so.
On the other hand, the black demographic is more blantly racist….confusing marxism with racial affiliation.
Most blacks reserve a very, very special place in hell for what they consider appostates/traitors such as Herman Cain.
However for the Beltway elites and DemocRATs, Sarah Palin continues to be the boogy-man lurking in the shadows……keeping ALL partisans off-balance….
The DemocRATS are cautious about commiting resources to attack GOP hopefuls just in case……
The current crop of GOP hopefuls seem to lack the fire in the belly and carefully not commiting to what could be an act of futility…just in case….
The vigour Perry and Cain have displayed indicates that doubt is setting in about whether SP will throw her hat in the ring.
Seems OBOZO agrees with us…well sort of….

Denis Miller always sounds like he just finished smoking a joint.
a dope even though I agree with him about Cain, the black racist, hahaha, LoL
