Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Wow, like wow you know? Like her head piece is like on too tight like you know?. Nice idea but you can buy cans of air in most novelty shops for a buck or two. Try again.
She would be a perfect fit for that job vacancy, or another possibility could the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. Her business model would be a perfect match for Bob Rae’s.
I vacuum-pack my own air. It keeps longer and saves me money in the long run.
So, like how much for a bottle of Delise’s finest? Upwind of your kennel would be preferred.
Good one Ken.
If BC can tax it she can sell it.
I’m glad somebody is finally taking negative energy n’stuff seriously.
If she can find a way to can farts she has a future in the Green Economy.

Still pretty funny.
I like made it through like 48 seconds before you know I like hurled.
Kathryn – Like, ditto!
That’s not a new idea. I remember back in the ’70s, souvenir shops would sell ‘Canned Saskatchewan Air’. There’s probably one still kicking around in my parent’s basement.
young hippies, old hippies… they’re all the same brand of stupidity and irrelevance
My first thought was,”this must be a joke”. The girl talks like a 1960’s “earth child”,not one of this generation’s kids.
Back in the ‘sixties, some entrepreneurs actually DID sell canned air as a novelty item,I saw some in a shop in Vancouver,it was a buck for a can. At the time Campbell’s soup was about 25 cents a can.
Didn’t the IPCC with Al Gore and Davide Suzuki corner the market for making money from air already?
We should, like, put all the CO2 in cans, and then like tax businesses for putting it in there, and then we like feed it trees and stuff.
The most horrible part is this: “to return to teaching at university”. More damage.
Is air head hyphenated?
Where do you find these Kate!
Like, oh my God I’m like, still laughing.
You know.
Stomach hurts.
Kate, please, inform us, what was the venu where she was, like, making her pitch? The audience members caught on camera looked like they were going to like crawl under the tables.
I didn’t even get a laugh out of this. It was so ultra annoying that I turned it off after about a minute. Getting old I guess. Anyway Kate, WHO WAS SHE TALKING TO?
I liked her for her enthusiasm. She may be misinformed but she has more spunk than most of her generation.
If you’ve been acquainted with other kids of her age they tend to sit around waiting for direction from Mom and Dad like they have all their lives.
I know where there’s free air to be had for the asking. Just send $5 for my handy instructional video that tells you where to find the free air, and how to use it to improve your health.
Her presentation was clearly satirical. It was a prank/joke.
Good for her – she stayed in character the whole time.
That was Nancy Pelosi at her job interview. You know the rest
Like…like, maaaaannnn…(cue sound of head falling off due to atrophy).
@Peter O’Donnell…get with the like program, maaaannnn, it’s like the 21st century maaaaannn… ask for at least $100.
I am willing to sell her the special crystals for blessing the air before she cans it – these are really special crystals that have been mined from where the Buddhists believe is the center of the universe, Vidette Lake, BC. We have a few bags of these quartz crystals sitting in our carport from a recreational rock hounding trip a few years ago. I’m willing to let them go for $15,000 a bag.
Grok, dmorris- I remember canned “Scotia Breeze” in NS, in the late 60s. I wondered if anyone ever opened those cans. Another product I’ve seen in Alberta, “Road Apples”. At least you could rattle the can, and know there’s something inside. Again, I wonder if anyone actually opened one. Gimmick souvenirs have amazing potential, but few ever get much attention. I realize this video was a prank, but for an entrepreneur, ideas like this can be a goldmine. Remember “Pet Rocks”?
My first thought – was this must be a prank- after I stopped laughing. After a brief search, I found out it was.
The astonishing thing is the number of people that gave “Rachel Sequoia” support for her scheme after her presentation at the club.
