This earlier report was certainly related. Google map. Military base is located at corner of Kakul and Awami, Bin Laden compound reported to be on Kabul Road, “within 1,000 ft” of the base. (Edited to remove satellite photo until I have better info.)

I think Osama has been dead for a while, based on his last few videos that have no image of him when speaking of current events.

On the inconsistency of the timing: first reports said OBL was killed a week ago, AliBama said is was today. Which is it? The first is more consistent with the rest of the reports re: DNA testing and confirmation. But, if it were a week ago, AliBama could not admit it, since he also says they have the body, and that would mean the body had not been already buried, as Islamic law demands. AliBama would not allow himself to be portrayed as that disrespectful of Islam. Watch now for what they do with the body.
