Related thoughts: Twitter does serve one useful purpose. It separates the politically obsessed and chronically underemployed from the real people who have lives. Accordingly, an observation for politicians: Do you know how many of my real-life regular folk voting friends are on Twitter? ZERO.

  9. CBC employees are civil servants. But they are neither ‘civil’ nor ‘servant like’. Instead, they look down their noses at the masses – just like Kings & Queens of days gone past. We can only hope.

  12. So this woman is alleged to be unfair in her reportage? Isn’t that a prerequisite for employment at that abattoir of murky sophistry the CBC?
    The only truth that may come from the CBC is when Kevin O’Leary tells someone on Dragon’s Den that his only interest is making money and of course, enjoying it. And I am sure that everyone else who works there cringes when he walks in the door.
    I unable to watch any other program on CBC including those gang fights they still insist on calling a sport … hockey.

  13. Abe Froman at 4:20 PM, how can any young woman who has the hots for a stale, old, recycled Dipper be “fair” in her reporting. The mind boggles. Not just because she favours the NDP brand, either. The guy is probably old enough to be her father and certainly has proven four times that he ain’t exactly a good catch, even if you favour the brand.
    Do these idiots not understand new technologies and what kind of trouble tweets like that can get them into? In the real world, posting something like that would get you fired. Not holding my breath, though.

  36. Allow me to explain: Dwain Lingenfelter is the leader of the left-wing socialist NDP in Saskatchewan. Stefani Langenegger is a very biased liberal-leaning NDP apologist who reports for the CBC under the guise of neutrality. (Actually, scratch that. Her anti-conservative bias openly shows in her reporting.) Anyway, Stefani Langenegger seems to love the Sask NDP soooo much, that her last name might as well be “Lingenfelter”. Because she seems to love the Sask NDP, and it shows in all her reports. Get it now?

  44. Bob McDonald? Really? I’ve not seen him do anything outside of science, which he does a pretty good job of explaining. Unlike almost every CBCer on your list, he gives me the impression of someone who at least tries not to use his position to drive home socialist doctrine at every opportunity.

  46. Was listening to CBC Radio today (the one on the left end of the dial) and they were doing a kind of man-in-the-street survey re: the call for a federal election. One fellow, obviously of oriental descent said (may God strike me dead if I lie) that he thought we had had “too many erections already” Well spoken even if an understatement.
