36 Replies to “Suicide Bomber at Moscow Airport”

  1. Security people have been warning for years that general access airport areas were an easy target for this type of attack. Now it has happened. Expect more as the religion of peace continues its march to the global caliphate.
What do we do now? Move current airport security procedures to the parking lots? Or perhaps adopt the Israeli approach?

  2. Where ever Islam rears it’s Death Cult head, this is what we can expect. Slaughter, death and evil in the guise of “Religion of Peace”.

  3. I wonder, will we have an opportunity to compare and contrast methodology of macho Putin with that of the metrosexual leaders of the West?

  4. I blame Sarah Palin. And dangerous right-wing rhetoric. And Rush Limbaugh.
“. . . there are people who have ideas and values that are different from yours and want to blow smoke in your face, and then there are people who have ideas and values that are different from yours and want to smoke you. Learning to tell the difference is an essential skill in life.”

  5. Send the Suicide bombers head to Jack Layton, i’m sure he and Chow will want to negotiate and reason with it.

  6. No, THIS time it’ll be the Shriners. Or the Knights of Malta, or the Scottish Presbyterian Women’s Auxilliary, or Daughters of the Revolution, or the Boy Scouts.
    Or Freemasons.
    Or Stephen Harper.

  7. “U.S. President Barack Obama condemned the “outrageous act of terrorism” and offered Moscow help.”
How? By offering to try the terrorists in the U.S?
This is a global war, boys,we should get together and punish these bastards Russian style, wherever they are.

  8. Fight the Islamofacists, ain’t going to happen in the west our liberal betters spend so much time bent over in outrage over fake Islamophobia that they won’t notice the killers amongst us until they’ve blown up people. Then the left will blame the west and Islamophobia for causing the Islamofacists to commit terrorists acts. Liberals and their circular logic are going to cause a great deal of suffering in the west and Eurabia.

  9. The CBC just had some talking head on saying that people shouldn’t jump to conclusions before we have all the facts.

    [………Or the Knights of Malta,……..]
We could do much worse than follow the example of the Knights Of Malta.
The Knights of St John…..Hospitalers….soldier monks…..
With the fall of the Crusader States ….established a presense on Malta….not content to navel gaze, they adopted a offensive posture in the mediteranean versus the Barbary Pirates of the Mahgreb(Arab North Africa).
Skilled seamen and naval marines, they put up a commendable showing…for their numbers.( They could only furnish 3 gallerys for the Holy League Fleet about 1+%).
They failed to make much of dint in the Barbary Pirates but the Pirates usually only survived by avoiding the Knights of Malta.
They unilaterally successfully fought off more than one serious attempt by the Ottomans to occupy Malta.
They were instrumental in forming a coalition of Christian Naval forces,(The Holy League) which engaged and defeated the entire Ottoman fleet at the Battle of Lepanto.

    LOL
I’ll assume this wasn’t on a CBC program where they were promoting Catastrophic Anthropogenic Global Warming yet again.

  12. Funny did the CBC head mention they found the severed head of one of the suicide bombers, perhaps that head can talk to the empty heads at CBCcccccccccccccccc.

  13. Paul @ 3:34 and Rose @ 6:24, excellent suggestion.
Hopefully when the Russians catch them they get the same justice that the pirates got.
grok @ 4:05 you forgot the Mennonites.

  14. Wonder how this will affect the security czars at our airports? I’m betting strip searches in the parking garage.

  15. You can bet the Russians will hunt down the families of the bombers.
Horrible as that is can anyone really judge them?
The Islamists will get their wish in changing the West.
When the forging is done by their misdeeds. What will be left is will make nightmares from the past like The destruction of Carthage a joke.
They will create a new Rome. This one with out any sympathy or quarter. A secular Rome, with a Nihilistic mentality. A Madman for a ruler, if the pattern holds.

  16. Why do I think the names of the people responsible for this unspeakable crime include Mohamed?

    Hey, I’m just wondering…

  17. Robert – I agree that KlausDieter does sound kind of like an idiot, but he’s right about the Russians playing “hardball”, and he may have a point with ‘I hope I’m not going to hear the “Oh, I bet it was the Russians who staged this…”‘ There have been any number of conspiracy theories along those lines re. the block of flats which was blown up in Moscow in 1999.
    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/europe/russian-agents-blew-up-moscow-flats-727352.html

  18. My problem with Herr Dieter was his PC equivalence of “all kinds of radicals”. This is the same canard pushed by Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and other nitwits who have invented a Big Lie in their own minds that “Christian terrorists” and “Jewish terrorists” are just as much a problem these days as those from their “Religion of Peace”.

  19. They should gather all body parts that can be identified as belonging to the bomber, take them to a pig farm and deposit them in the pig sty, duly recorded on film and broadcast.

  20. Again, we are seeing people very unwilling to admit the very obvious. To my knowledge, there are no Seventh Day Adventists blowing up people. That kind of violence is clearly akin to one group of people. “White guilt”, “political correctness”, “basic stupidity”- whatever one wishes to term it- will kill us all.

  21. Robert @ 10:07, agreed. Some just have to keep trotting out the moral equivalency canard.
Black Mamba, but the crowd that watches only thirty minutes of news every day on MSM swallows this.

  22. What concerns me is that this will be used an excuse by N. American statists to put even greater security in airports making the experience of flying even more irritating and degrading than it already is.
I guess the only good thing about this event is that it happened in Russia. Unlike the girlie-men that make up the US government, Russians know how to deal with islamofascist terrorists and I suspect there will be far fewer potential suicide bombers in Chechnya in the coming weeks. Perhaps the country will be turned into one large pig farm.
When one is dealing with a medieval death-cult, the only thing they understand is medieval forms of justice.

  23. A terrible act, but Russia is not making the situation better. They are right to crush terrorists even with civilian casualties, but this only works in the framework of a temporary invasion. Russia’s permanent occupation of Chechnya and the backing of corrupt regimes throughout the North Caucuses has created a local terrorist farm.

  24. I don’t think the Russian methods of dealing with terrorists are much better than ours. Beslan, the Moscow Opera House and even the first chechen war went pretty badly. I doubt we would have done worse. These events might just be the price we pay for living in a free society and stupidly low birth rates.

  25. The Russians have a second chance of hosting the Olympic games, in Sochi 2014. If Canada managed to spend a billion? dollars on security for its recent Vancouver Olympics, how much will Russia spend in order to safeguard its guests? Sochi is a hop skip and jump from the Chechnya region, some have noted the “security bunkers” built into the surrounding hills in the Sochi areas where games events will be held. I’ll just watch this one unfold on Tv.

One of the writers for Pajamas Media / American Thinker is Kim Zigield. Her personal blog is here, where she covers mostly Russian news, she’ll likely have more to say on this terrorist event…

  26. This is why it’s so frustrating that Russia continues to insist on always tossing a turd into the West’s punchbowl. When it comes to international cooperation against organizations and regimes like Ahmadouchebag in Iran, Russia reflexively plays contrarian to the US.
As for Russian methods…have you heard the story about the Soviet diplomats captured in Beirut back in the 80s? The KGB sent packages to the hostage-takers’ cohorts containing sensitive parts of their brothers-in-arms’ anatomy. No more Soviet nationals were kidnapped anywhere in the Middle East.

  27. By and large, the comments attached to CBC stories are among the most stupid, vacuous, brain dead examples of human thought one can find anywhere. I’m surprised, tho, that the word “Harper” doesn’t appear in the one you posted here, Robert. Although I’m sure many of the 787 other comments will have corrected that flaw.

  28. There are probably three scenarios:
Chechens – par for the course. And a lot of Chechens will pay the price for it.
Georgian’s – not likely, but not an impossibility.
Russia themselves – Since they are looking for an excuse to finish what they started in Georgia…look for them to highlight door number two above.

  29. I watched the breaking news on Fox, early this morning. There was some troubling misinformation in the first report. It was reported that the explosion was the equivalent of 10,000 lbs of TNT. When I heard this I started thinking Hiroshima, then realized I was off by a factor of 1000. Then I started thinking Oklahoma City, but then remembered fertilizer has less punch than TNT. Then I thought about the 2000 lb bombs dropped on London, and minus the weight of the casing, got a pretty good idea of the potential damage. Before I knew it, they’d updated the information. It was the equivalent of “several” lbs of TNT.
I’ve decided to take a new approach to breaking news. When a big story hits the airwaves, I’m going to turn it off, and listen to some heavy metal for at least 2 hours, just to give the announcers time to listen to themselves.
