Now is the time at SDA when we juxtapose!
November 3, 2010 – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, who has a long history of eleventh-hour victories, pulled off one more Tuesday, defying polls and denying the tea party movement its most coveted prize.
December 16, 2010 – Harry Reid pulls $1.1 trillion spending bill from floor
Happy Anniversary!

Ah yes, the Boston Tea Party. Think I’ll have a cuppa to that!
That is good news!
Merry Christmas to us if this holds through Jan 4!
The gall of these people to ram through this legislation during this lame duck session… unprecedented!
Oh God I hope it holds.
Remember the time wrangling over the first stimulus, it was so large and important. Now this thing came along without any warning at all, and was going to be passed as though it was just some ordinary unimportant little bill. What’s another Trillion, what’s another billion.
Damn!!
I’m not sure if the TEA Party came soon enough to save the Good old U.S of A from financial collapse…But it is encouraging to witness the awesome power of the web and how fast the TP grew and how it has become such a powerful influence in Washington…There’s still plenty of good and decent men and women out there.
Happy anniversary!

Isn’t it time for the US to have the newly elected folks take office within a week of the elections now?
Not like anyone needs weeks to get to Washington by horseback, dog sleds, slow trains, etc.
Is that the bill that Oblamebush said would kill his presidency if not passed? If so should the bugler be practicing Taps?
wtf is a “political Dunkirk moment”. I hope they aren’t implying what I’m thinking they are.
Senate Dems (and squishy Reps) who noticed the November elections declined to jump into the fire for Dirty Harry.
You betcha Mojo, there are plenty of Democrat Senators that come up for re-election in 2012.
What galls me is this is the second year in a row that Obama and his snakes-in-the-grass pulled this stunt right before Christmas. Which pretty much proves to me that he ain’t no Chirstian.

The Democratic Congress had a lot of guts to reconvene after voters showed what they thought of them on Nov. 2. This bill was an act of spite.
