Somehow, I find this vaguely related: a progressive blogger toys with the notion that it’s possible, just possible that a woman might be capable of filing a false rape charge. I wonder what brought that on?

Robert Day is one of the biggest jerks in the Canadian blogosphere. “Bully” is a perfect description.
So why do many in the progressive blogosphere support him? Cause he’s their jerk. There is a tendency to overlook — or at least excuse — the flaws of those on one’s own side.

If the CIA were framing Assange I’d hope they could do a better job than this. The charge is silly even by Swedish standards: He didn’t use a condom but on the other hand he can’t have forced anyone to do anything (that would be rape-rape).
Black Mamba, I think you miss my point. I’m betting the rape charge is just a cover to get him into protective custody while not calling it that.
I agree with Mamba, this is a frame up and the woman complainant has CIA links. What clown court would accept a rape case based on consensual sex but missing a condom? I realize some sociopathic Fembo may think all consensual sex is rape but not any legitimate court.
Perhaps the discussion should be about the ease in which a man’s life and reputation can be ruined by a simple false accusation.
