  1. Good one!
    However would he get some sort of pretrial credit that would be applied to his sentence?

  2. Watching CBC’s “Connected” last night was very entertaining. They were, of course, discussing little Omar and the 1st interview was with a former prisoner at Quantanamo. This guy was all over Omar, great guy, well respected, poorly treated, blah blah blah. Then Ezra Levant made an appearance, calling Khadr a murderer & a psychopath. At one point Ezra said it was too bad Omar didn’t get finished off on the battlefield.
    Mark Kelley (the host) was clearly not happy with Ezras’ point of view. Kelleys’ body language was pretty telling & when he ended the segment with Ezra it was clear he was p’d off.

  3. Canada simply BEGS for punishment!
    Perpetually “little” Omar will have to be placed into protective custody,like our own Cliff-Bob Olson, lest some un-rehabilitated neanderthal should shank him.
    PC costs about twice what regular custody costs,last I heard $100,000 a year,so why bring the little SOB back here to cost us even more than he has already.
    btw,who do you suppose pays for all those lawyers representing Little Omar,surely NOT the Canadian taxpayer?!

  4. Canada could strengthen the deterrent effect while drastically cutting costs by simply contracting out all of its prison services to Mexico. A simple wink and nod to the Mexican bus driver during departure and some particularly nasty prisoners might not ever return.

  5. Just think the return could have been in a body bag…much less money to throw away….its the battle field medics that gave him a life…but no thanks…

  6. From what I’ve heard about Afghan and Pakistani tribal practices, this James guy may want to transfer Gitmo. He could be part of their exercise program. In any case, Omar probably is used to it.

    Mississauga Matt… where are you? That sounds like youtube gold!

  8. love this blog …saw Levant put down Kelly as well – he was beautiful – child soldier ? – poor little Omar ? – CBC has a lot to answer for, not the least is this disgusting story – if there is a God, we will get rid of this CBC subsidy, and then the pompous buffoons will shrivel up and die

  9. Yup. Graham James and Omar Khadr. Cell mates. A match made in….well I really can’t say it’s hell, more like heaven in a certain respect.
    And let’s hope it happens before Stockwell Day gets to build his new prisons. A cramped, dank cell would be perfect.

  10. Perhaps the Khadr story will end as an inversion of the Jihadi dream – where 72 inmates share one virgin.

  11. I think that well pensioned off Clifford Olson will have dibs on a new cellmate too.
    and when young Omar gets out he can always find employment with CBCpravda , maybe even stay at Peter Pansbridge Fantasy world.

  12. I agree with John Chittick, Canada should have a free trade agreement with Mexico where our convicted criminals are contracted to Mexican prisons for their time in custody. That would be a money saver and the lefties would be in a quandry as critisizing the Mexican prison system as too harsh would alienate Mexico.

  13. ‘cept now he might find himself ‘off the mound and behind the plate’ so to speak.

  14. Mississauga Matt… where are you? That sounds like youtube gold!

    Oh sure, call on the pimply kid who’s at home ’cause he can’t get a date so he’s glued to the TV and nerdily captures videos on Youtube.
    Ahem. Video up.

  15. I saw something on Newsworld this morning about “Senator” Dallaire talking to high school kids about how they can stop child soldiers.
    I don’t know if the Screw-up Of Rwanda called Omar a child soldier when talking to the kids, but he pushed that lie in a brief interview with the CBC afterward.
    I wonder if the kids were told about the 10 Belgian peacekeepers murdered on Dallaire’s watch?

  16. Thanks Matt, I’d say it’s a good thing Kate calls on you for this…
    and kudos to you Ezra for not giving us the nuance we’re subjected to in other media outlets.

  17. Ooooh, that’s nasty, Kate! LOL
    Adler keeps mentioning the thought that the Khadr family will sue for $10 mill for the torture their poor boy went through…!! You can bet on a lawsuit the second this guy gets back into the country….and that will be a sickening thing to contemplate won’t it….

  18. Okay, okay, here’s the roomie role call at the crowbar hotel:
    Clifford Olson;
    Paul Bernardo;
    Russell Williams;
    Willy Picton;
    Graham James;
    Omar Khardr.
    There’s nothing wrong with triple bunking, is there?

  19. I bid $100 for Omies left hand. So he can’t wipe his arse.
    Keep his stink to himself….

  20. Great comments by Ezra! Mark Kelly looked green around the gills. Made me smile. Why does this sorry nation waste so much time, money and effort on the likes of omer kadicar? One reason, just one….the bad apple in a barrel can infect the whole batch unless a good farmer finds it and chucks it out.

  21. On the other hand, Omar is gonna have to spend time with his sister and mother now. The horror…the horror.

  22. Just a thought.
    Would it help to begin a letter writing campaign to the Sec of State and cc in Hannity, Rush, Levin, Steyn, requesting that Omar serve out his entire sentence in the US in general population?
    This is Obama’s problem, why is he sloughing it off on Canada?

  23. Oh right, Mouth, and what trenchant or humourous or helpful, have you brought to the scene, perhaps you would have Omar bunk with you?

  24. Khadr is finally right where he belongs..In a American courtroom.CBC has already skipped his trial phase and in now searching for someone to de-radicalize Omar..They want to skip over the unpleasant facts of Khadr’s admitted guilt and focus on saving his soul…
    There’s plenty of time to save Omar AFTER he serves his full prison sentence
    And as for his family helping Omar,they are the reason that Omar is in the spot he is now..
    Of course ALL the lefties refuse to listen to stories of Khadr’s guilt and still see him as a forgotten child soldier ,persecuted by the Americans because he’s a muslim…
    We Canadians (according to Dennis Edney) should be ashamed of the way we have abandoned Khadr.I took that as a personal insult that this shyter should want to link me with this murdering Jihadist….
    Khadr’s 15 minutes of fame are almost up,let’s move on to more pressing issues,perhaps the long form census or the commission to investigate the lack (or surplus) sockeye salmon…

  25. Let him in, arrest him at the border, charge him immediately with treason, and bang him into Kingston pen. The CCC is clear and it’s an open and shut case; this little turd levied war against the country that made him a citizen and issued him a passport. Make an example of him.
    And as for Romeo Dallaire, somebody pass that raving lunatic a bottle of Le Gros Gin Des Patriotes so he can go on another bender and shut the hell up. He’s a disgrace to the uniform he once wore. And I say that as guy who wore the same goddamned uniform.
