perhaps this is a satirical article and I am currently too under the weather to understand it….
but…
There is no way in hell that May will show up at this event to debate Ezra. At least, not in a toe-to-toe debate. Perhaps (still less than 10% chance) if she is given 5 or 10 minutes to spout off without retort by Ezra, and then promptly storm off the stage.
May is dumb, very dumb, but not that dumb. She knows she is shovelling BS and she knows that Ezra can destroy opponents in debate when he gets rolling. That greenpeace chap was certainly left with a hangover after his encounter with Ezra.
So, I will not hold my breath that this debate happens.
However, it would be a very nice and early christmas present if it did.
Since Elizabeth May pronounced that global warming was causing AIDS to increase in Africa, she should never ever open her mouth again.

She would have to be crazy to show up. It depends on who the moderator will be though and whether he/she actually lets them debate.
Oh man, this would be worth hoping on a Porter Air flight to Ottawa if I thought she would actually show.
I could put the CO2 credit on her card.
It’s a fundraiser to help May pay for an very expensive and delicate experimental operation only performed by one team of surgeons and nerve regrowth specialists in the US. It involves an attempt to remedy a defect which failed to connect her tongue to the brain during development. Not covered by Medicare. Most sufferers become very frustrated and embarrassed because they realize something is wrong but don’t know why they haven’t any control over what they say.

There was a reason the only greenpeace guy BNN could get was an Australian, his Canadian counter parts knew better then to do a live show against Ezra. Always better to just yell into a crowd or post on a blog, then to have a conversation.
May will bail. But Ezra should show up and ask if any member of the green party (or NDP) in the audience wants to give it a go in her absence. They are clearly knowledgeable enough to vote based on their views so surely they’d be able to a debate nonsense premise like Canada is a better place to do buisness then Sudan.
May will do what May has always done.
State her side then talk over Ezra while he TRIES to get a word in.
I’m with Daniel and Frenchy up at the top. Ms. May will have an ‘important’ reason to cancel. Probably already has it prepared. She can’t get any news coverage so this is a way to get her name out again.
I’m pretty sure that there is no one in the world today who can ‘talk over’ Ezra Levant.
Why is Ezra even considering debating with a Yank eco-nazi? I think he should have invited Mugabe or Chavez.
