  6. I agree with Steyn to a point, Robert, but civil war is very difficult where a population is disarmed, as is most of Europe and particularly Britain. If Europe does break down to civil conflict, in absence of guns the means of war will be crude indeed.

    and the Swiss are ALL armed to the teeth…EVERY household has a semi-auto with 4 clips…
    i reckon their self defense schema will be every bit as effective as their watchmaking ability..
    push will come to shove rather sooner than later with our muslim buddies…it’ll be a cave in of course on their part but the shit we’ll have to go through for a decade or more will be tedious in the extreme..

    Wait until the first court case where they insist on their religious freedom allows them to use loudspeakers to broadcast the call to prayers at 5am or the first gay bashing/murder at some mosque in Toronto . . .

    China will gladly supply both sides with weapons. The Russians could but they will be in the middle of their own civil war and their military will be majority Islam. Canada will be approaching where Europe is now with the US trailing somewhat.
    The C-junk link provided the debunking (more the irrelevance of the concept) of moderate Muslims. Simply put, majority or significant minority Muslim population plus democracy equals Shariah. Western Constitution’s be damned. The only question remaining is do we, 1. abandon liberal democracy by outlawing Islam for example; or 2. Submit to Islam; or 3. at some point in our future, engage in civil war? Can anyone else see a realistic alternative 4?

    My contacts in Europe from France to Scandanavia….report the indiginous (white europeans) are just itching to conduct an emotional event of a violence/death toll unseen since the Thirty Years War.
    In the final analysis, the EU gun laws will be meaningless. Much like the US Civil war was not affected much by hermits with squirrel rifles…the coming event will hinge on state militias and arms. The national armies of the EU will not side with the islmofascists and fire on the ‘white christians’.
    Actually the more recent graduates of Switzerland’s compulsory military service all possess FULLY auto’s.

    Mark, criminal gangs are shooting each other every day all over Europe, including Britain. Guns are available to those who want them.
    Not to mention, a few shipping containers from some thoughtful donor country could give some enterprising imam an instant army to raise all kinds of hell with. Manpower is ready, all they need is an AK and marching orders.
    Civil wars start -easier- when populations are disarmed. Europe has proven that countless times over the last thousand years. Hell, we just saw that in Yugoslavia not even twenty years ago.
    Compare that to the problem Mexican drug gangs are having in Arizona. The US government has pretty much given them free run of the southern Arizona interior, but they keep having to dodge groups of heavily armed civilians that don’t answer to -anybody-. Drug gangs fire on Border Patrol and cops with gusto, but the civilians they run away from. That says something.

  16. Incidentally, further to my insistence a week or so ago that not all Muslims are bad people, I offer you two more examples: Walid Shoebat & Zak Anani
    These are very brave men whose enemies are not just Radical Muslims but also the North American Left.
    I do believe it’s important to draw a line in the sand and not let Radical Muslims (or Leftists) cross past it, but I absolutely will never support the notion of labeling all Muslims as bad people.

  17. Time for a moratorium on immigration from Muslim countries before it is too late. Problem here is Quebec controls its immigrant choices and it prefers French-speaking immigrants or those who have French as a second or third language (Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon).

    Things look bad on paper for Britain but I can you tell that when push comes to shove that the locals can take back their towns with little or no effort and would probably enjoy the process.
    The football teams supporters clubs alone could clean up the streets let alone the hard men and ex soldiers walking around.

  19. I don’t really like the way someone edited out Mr. Ramadan. He made poor use of the time he was given, but there is something dishonest about clipping him out completely.
    My ears perked up a couple of times during the video, during Mr. Pardo’s statements:
    – Switzerland is a ‘direct democracy’
    – The question was put to the people and the people decided the matter.
    This is where I would hope that Mr. Pardo and all Swiss people have read Mark Steyn’s book, America Alone.
    I think that with those statements comes a few interesting possibilities:
    1. What happens if enough Muslims immigrate, and reproduce, such that direct democracy takes over to implement sharia law. They will have lost their country, but kept democracy (which would be dismantled very soon after its usefulness was over).
    2. If the people want a free society and/or democracy, a long lasting democracy, then they will need to go much further than banning minarets or redefining what constitutes a mosque. They will need to eliminate mosques altogether and stop Muslim immigration.

Dont let some , maybe better muslims who can see the future and are scared of it, let you think that some in islam are OK, unless they want to oppose islamic law openly (and then they will be killed anyway) they will kill you when the time comes, and it must. Islam wants the world, they cannot work it of course but that will play well for the greens as we will be back to the dark ages.Good on the swiss and some French. I know a gentle, quiet and lively christian woman, she has fostered over 30 babies yet she sees this too. I am worried and getting prepared.

    Of course, not all Muslims are bad people. Even majority of Muslims are not bad people. But ask yourself the question: “Did all Germans and Japanese in 1930s were bad people?” They weren’t. The same problem is with Muslims. Majority of them will not go against their clerics, their mullahs, their society, their organizations, their customs and their traditions. They will not go against something “which everybody [meaning: every Muslim] know it’s true” “is certain” “is known”
    The people you mentioned – Walid Shoebat and Zak Anani are exception, not the rule.

    The Civil Rights laws were put in place to stop things like that from happening. No matter who got into power they still had to adhere to laws that would stop them from abusing or enslaving other parts of the population.
    Unfortunately the Civil Rights laws were repealed by “the left”. Any group that gets a majority can now control jobs, education, health care, housing and use race or religion to decide who gets it.

  23. The immigration moratorium will only go so far. As the proverb goes, there is no point in closing the barn door after the horse has fled. You have Muslim populations within Western countries. If Westerners weren’t obsessed with their own selfish and foolish wants, these populations wouldn’t be making any sort of trouble.

  24. Our Christian society does not understand why moderate Muslims do not speak out against the Muslim terrorists. When Christian terrorists were running rampant in Ireland, Christians all over the world spoke out against the terrorism. The reason Muslims are silent is because they live in fear of reprisals. Friends who live in Thailand have watched Islam spread through Thailand and Malaysia. The tactics used explain a lot about their goals and values. When the Muslims come into an area the first thing they do is recruit the least intelligent thugs. They’re the easiest target group, but more importantly the thugs are used to pressure others to convert and to bring reprisals to anyone who speaks out against them. Very insidious, very effective, and totally foreign to our Christian based value system. They use our kindness and forgiveness against us; they see it as a sign of weakness.
    The closest parallel to the Muslim modus operandi is the techniques used by Hitler’s Third Reich to take over the German people and dominate Europe. The threat is just as strong, and the longer we try to ignore it with political correctness the worse it will become.

  28. Just having spent an enjoyable Labour Day afternoon with friends in front of the boobtube taking in a couple of CFL games, I was reminded of something just recently noticed that is rather disturbing.
    Not to be paranoid, but it seems a considerable number of players are wearing these black skull caps under their helmets.
    Now I know they have a reason for doing so; was once a bandana or a doo-rag, but now they’ve got these slick rigs supplied by Nike, Adidas or somebody- couldn’t catch whose logo it was, but they’re plain black, and the players bench looks like a collection of Mullahs and Imams!
    Come on CFL- if you want to promote these things, have them produced in Rider green, Stampeder red, Argo blue, etc. and with the corresponding team logo!!!

He is a slippery eel indeed who speaks of moderation on the one hand, but speaks also of honouring his grandfather’s ideals of the Muslim Brotherhood. He has been a favourite of Michael Enright’s on the CBC, but he is well exposed in Paul Berman’s new book “The Flight of the Intellectuals.”

    Because it’s part of the leftist political correctness agenda to destabilize successful western capitalist societies.
    As for mosques / burqas / headscarves etc., the battle should be against bad ideas, not clothing or places of worship. The west needs to focus on the proper target, and pick the right spots.

    It’s harder to raise babies if mommy has a career.
    Of course you could always let the State raise your babies, but then what would be the point of having them?

  35. i remember when i was in ‘business'(don’t ask)in Gibraltar and with the border closed Moroccans were brought in as a labour force to replace the Spaniards….
    ..they were distrusted and disliked on principle ….even back then people had their number…
    a thoroughly unclubable people…i remember making ‘deliveries’ at night by boat off Ceuta in the lee of an island named Parajil….they’d row out to take possession of the merchandise and one always kept a boat hook at the ready…
