They’re not against the war on terrorism. They’re on the other side.
The Obama administration has shelved the planned prosecution of Abd al-Rahim al-Nashiri, the alleged coordinator of the Oct. 2000 suicide attack on the USS Cole in Yemen, according to a court filing.
The decision at least temporarily scuttles what was supposed to be the signature trial of a major al-Qaeda figure under a reformed system of military commissions. And it comes practically on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the attack, which killed 17 sailors and wounded dozens when a boat packed with explosives ripped a hole in the side of the warship in the port of Aden.
In a filing this week in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, the Justice Department said that “no charges are either pending or contemplated with respect to al-Nashiri in the near future.”
You bet. There will be no prosecution, because in Obama’s eyes, it would be persecution. We must all remember, al-Nashiri’s murderous hatred really wan not his fault, he was driven into a murderous frenzy by the US.
It’s only a matter of time until Iran conducts its first nuclear test in a city somewhere in Europe or North America. And that, too, we must understand, because, after all, THEIR hatred is not their fault. It’s the US’s.
Well isn’t that just ducky. It coincides with their blessing given to the Muslims to go forward and build their mosque near Ground Zero.
It’s quite apparent the Barrack Hussein Obama administration believes the adage “love thy enemy”.
Just when I thought he couldn’t sink any lower….
This man is beyond belief. I’m not a birther by a long stretch, but sometimes I have to wonder about whether or not he’s Muslim. The mind boggles. Sixty-eight days left until mid-course correction. Eight hundred two days until the 2012 Presidential election.

One point the article made that is a certainty, and that’s that “it’s political”. Not too long ago an overwhelming majority of Democrats, in solidarity with Republicans, voted to engage the enemy in the “War on Terror”. Today the self-loathing Democrats have done a complete 180, and now seem to advocate on behalf of those America wars with; all the while suffering from political amnesia, forgetting their part in the war from the beginning.
Now I suspect that what we are seeing is the true colors of the Democratic Party; and what we saw post 9/11 was a Democratic Party that was politicking; voting against their true convictions, daring not to be seen in such stark contrast to the wishes of the over whelming majority of Americans. I mean seriously, on every serious matter, the Democrats have been on the wrong side of public opinion; they’re batting .1000. If they thought they could, they would have defined 9/11 as America’s fault, and reacted completely contrary to how Americans would have wished. America was very fortunate to have President Bush in the Oval Office during this time.
So what kind of people would vote send troops to war against their conscience; strictly for political survival?

The Democratic Party has been usurped by Socialist Slim-balls, and the good and decent Democrats have been hoodwinked. Games are played with words and definitions to confuse Democratic supporters, who by all rights should be voting for a conservative party. Why should they be voting conservative? Statistics show that liberals are a small minority (20%), so logically we can deduct that the liberal Democratic Party is being buoyed by an unwitting group of conservatives (fiscal and social) that don’t know any better. Mexican Americans for example are a very socially conservative demographic that votes for the secular party. Now one good argument against my theory is that there isn’t a “conservative” party worth voting for; and I concede that point.
So when slime-balls are around, you can sure as bet there’s politics involved; as revolting as that is in a case such as this.
I guess one big question is – why? Boy, it sure doesn’t seem like he wants to be a two termer for shure.
How long past November till he is impeached? How long till the new Congress is swarn in?
We can just hope America comes back. That this is a lesson they will learn for 100 years.
I fear though that they will just decline. As we have since the Marxist Trudeau gave us a phony Constitution, & an even more shallow French Bureaucracy.
Combined to rape the Provinces.
