    Lemme fix this: If you believe people aren’t responsible for their actions- until they do something to YOU- then you might be a liberal.
    Yeah, sex change operations are great. Release the inner whatsit thats trying to get out. Government should even pay for it. Only a mean nassssty Republican could argue otherwise.
    Unless its -your- kid. That’s different. Then its obviously a serious mental disorder that your lovely girl thinks she ought to have herself permanently mutilated to resemble a man, and the guy who’d taking money to do said mutilation is a monster.

    Why they’re not exuberant after championing Hollywood-sponsored social engineering and gender-bending for years isn’t clear to me. I guess, like most liberals, it’s OK for life in general, which applies to the plebs, to be all loosey-goosey — and we’ll rally to support and raise funds for the wackiness — but, hey, when it gets down to specifics (run and hide, Libby!) and it’s my kid who’s going all queer, oh no!
    Parent to parent, I can feel their pain, but they walked right into this one. It’s hard to feel the heart strings tugging.
