2. I feel sorry for lefties. They somehow manage to even be sore winners, they have no sense of humour, they always need a target, they are massive condescenders and tongue-cluckers, they are bullies and they loathe everything. My rightie friends are always in good moods, are funny, light-hearted and roll with the punches. And if you think this might not be on-target, mention one of these characteristics to a leftie friend or colleague and watch them fly into a rage.

3. One wonders why Defense Secretary Gates didn’t use this event as an opportunity to resign. I’m sure similar thoughts to that scenario above have been running through the minds of many Americans lately.

5. For what it’s worth, I agree with Shamrock’s post.
   What I find interesting is TOTUS and Co.’s complete disregard for political consequences. They are either brazenly stupid, or they are supremely confident.
   It doesn’t seem likely that TOTUS believes this type of policy would be favourable to most Americans; if he does, then I think I think he’s delusional( but the left’s imagination never does fail to impress). Typically, I think TOTUS hopes this type of tinkering with defence policy goes unnoticed by the general public; but why then drag Sarah Palin into it?
   I’ll get to that.
   In rap music ,rappers like Jay-Z won’t plug a rapper by dissing them(say their name in a song) in retaliation to some stone throwing from below. That just helps the stone thrower; it’s just common sense.
   So what gives? Is TOTUS and Co. brazenly stupid, and don’t understand that responding to Sarah Palin by name only increases the size of her Pulpit? Or is it that TOTUS and Co. are supremely confident they will meet their goals regardless of the political consequences? If that’s the case, I shudder to think what those goals are. After all, 2014 is the year when all medical benefits kick-in, but the cost of living goes up today to pay for it. Whatever “it” is. There will be no tangible benefits from a Carbon tax, just taxes. So like I said, what gives here? How can TOTUS ignore the political consequences of what appears to be a never ending barrage of slights towards main stream Americans?
   Hmmm…
   How about Millions of Mexicans granted American citizenship, causing a monumental political shift in the America?
   THAT… appears to be the solution to the woes of TOTUS and the Democrats. If the Democrats can acquire the millions of votes that Amnesty will ENSURE(regardless of the fact the bill would likely by bi-partisan), there is no limit to the number of blows TOTUS can deliver to those he loathes.
   I don’t think TOTUS and Co. are brazenly stupid, I think they are supremely confident, crossing over into cocky territory.

   So why does TOTUS drag Sarah Palin into this discussion? Because TOTUS needs Sarah Palin!
   Without Sarah Palin, TOTUS does not command the attention of Americans, or the world for that matter. Quite simply, TOTUS is TIRED!
   So there you have it, it’s a political calculation: TOTUS’s adoration for the publics attention outweighs the political consequences of dropping a few cards from his hand, for the proverbial poker table to see. I’ll even go as far as predicting that TOTUS invokes the “Tiger Woods Angle” sometime in the future so he can steal some of Tiger’s SHINE.

8. In principle and practice, there is no such thing as an absolute ruler. It is always an oligarchy….sometimes a small committee but a committee non-the-less. POTUS is impotent without TOTUS—TOTUS is the unseen committee.
   The TOTUS is not reacting to Palin—-that is OBAMUGABE talking…out of turn….likely to the anger and frustration of TOTUS.
   POTUS out of control by TOTUS….threatens TOTUS agenda….POTUS could be outliving his utility to TOTUS…..
   That would be a Riechstag burning…..
   Personally I find the image of a riderless horse—for this POS repugnant….a well used garbage truck would be more appropriate……
