Russian anchors – doing the job Canadian news networks won’t do!
And you don’t need to speak Russian to enjoy it.
“In the Western press and blogs discussing the scandal provoked by hackers. The problem of global warming, they turned from the academic to the almost criminal.” – according to Google Translate

No News is right about Prison Planet; talk about Cloudkukuland! kI think everyone here is concerned about pollution and swindling fuel supplies. but that is not what we’re fighting here. rzr .. nice shot.
This is our Berlin Wall moment! They can’t stop us now!
Quoted by: Hans Rupprecht at November 26, 2009 7:21 PM from UK paper.
Oh Yeah!? I was thinking exactly that for a few minutes yesterday but I managed to attenuate the euphoria, for what we thought happened on that day — didn’t.
The State, like the universe itself, will continue to expand apace. New memes will be found, new crises will be manufactured.
Paraphrasing Randolph Bourne “Crisis [War] is the health of the state”.
If there was any honesty is any of this climate stuff, it would be closing shop right now. We have the evidence that it is fraud and we all know what the ulterior motives are.
It will take some time even with the evidence, but I think we will eventually kill this crap.
We must continue to tell out politicians that we are onto them and vote them the hell out if they don’t listen.
Sorry, that should be “dwindling”
@DanBC
I understand your sentiment, but you probably haven’t been paying attention to what AJ has been communicating lately. He’s actually been ahead of the curve on most issues since the 0ne won – especially the bankster bailout, AGW hoax, and the WH socialist agenda. Then again, some might get the impression Max Keiser is a terrorist sympathizer because one of his shows is broadcast on Press TV; whereas he’s actually an anti-war, anti-WallSt laissez-faire capitalist gagged by the western media. Keep in mind that rejecting odd allies is not a luxury our side possesses at this point in time.
Pretty damned sorry that even without understanding Russian, one can tell that this news story was far more objective than anything in North America.
At Watts Up With That- Steve McIntyre found the
deleted data from the “Hide the Decline” trick
and how sweeet it is.
I understand the bias coming from CBC and CTV, etc. but here’s what I DON’T understand… Even the small local news rooms aren’t reporting this story. For example, listening to The Rutherford show on AM770 CHQR, Dave talks about it, but the newsroom doesn’t. Nor are the news rooms at local music stations. Who’s controlling the media??
No news, not sure about your message, slow down.
Jones is a 911 Truther. You know, it was all a setup, Bush’s fault, he blew the buildings up, the Jews were to not go to work, etc, etc…
He’s a crackpot, sorry.
Watch the video which shows people confronting him and his horder, on 911 anniversary day in NY City. He is a disgusting piece of crap.
Sorry for the OT rant, but again, (I hate to say this, but) if Chavez, Ahmadinnerjacket, and the Norks all came in hot and heavy againsy AGW, wouldn’t you think it would make the skeptic message ring hollow?
Just wondering…..
And no, dingbat, I believe in anything but the fraud of AGW, I’m just saying, be careful who you ally yourself with……
Apparently the greenies are asking for Canada to be kicked out of the commonwealth if we don’t suck up to the warmies.

Now I’m not losing any sleep over it.
Baw Wah
Saw Global just now on Copenhagen…no mention of this of course.

That’s what I find puzzling too, the unusual disparity between the the amount of opinion coverage and the amount of news coverage. Generally speaking, opinion columnists talk about/elaborate upon items that are in the news, but that’s not really the case here. I’ve never seen such a hard line between the opinion journalists and reporters/editors as in this case.
I hope some journalist – an opinion writer, obviously – will explain at some point what’s going on in newsrooms, because there’s absolutely no way that news editors/producers are unaware of the significance of this story to the general public, as evidenced by the comments in the online version of the papers/broadcasts.
Is it not because Reuters Thompson Associated Press control it all ? Toe the line, small news outlets or loose the news feed.
I’m sending my letter to Mr Prentice, Mr. Harper and my MP to oppose Cap and Trade in Copenhagen. We’ll see if I just get the usual talking points response.
The floodgates are open – must be global warming – and it just keeps coming: at the NP blog statistician Phil Green notes the blatant stonewalling of a scientist in France.
CBCpravda after 5 days , skews the headline.
http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2009/11/26/climate-change-hack.html
I believe Mr. Harper decided to go to Copenhagen because he knows nothing will happen, not because it will.
Or because China has now stated that they will impose ‘intensity targets’ on themselves, perhaps. That was The PM’s point all along…that there was no point in Canada taking actions that would cripple our economy if the emerging GHG giants weren’t planning on cutting back their own emissions.

I emailed CKOM’s news director Murray Wood yesterday to ask him why his news department was 2 days behind his headline talk show host in breaking developments.
He replied that the station focuses on local stories, and that global warming is “boring”.
Tonight I sent him a followup reply …
I managed to catch the local interest “two kids found in a trunk inMassachussets” story today.
Good work.
Hey, we’ve got the Communist Broadcast Corp; the Ruskies now have Real Russian TV.
CTV has a report of how CRTC has approved Al Jazeera’s broadcasting license.
Maybe THEY will cover the climategate story!

Here are some thoughts on this subject.
Used to converse in Russian many moons ago, this time could hardly understand a word.
Comes with age and lack of practice.
The thing is that to the Russians, the global wormers are a distraction they don’t need. They need to build their industries and such so that they have some decent future.
One suspects that the revelations from the whistle blower are an enjoyable violin plays to their ears. They are probably thinking, keep on playing.
You see, the Russians are not the terrible people that many times they are portrayed to be.
As it is, “no one is without a fault”, this is one of undeniable truths.
Always disliked the communist soviet garbage, for inexplicable reason that even your agent can’t understand though, have somewhat of a warm feeling towards the Russians as opposed to the global warm feeling.
There is no doubt that they delight in the irony of telling the truth as opposed to the “free” press that is controlled by the government.
After talking to Rob Renners right hand man I have no hope for Alberta in this scam, he stated that I should make California folks like our oilsands… I said the last people we should try to please are a state full of bankrupt nuts, grow a set boys and realize this is the biggest scam to ever unfold on humanity. Years from now the history books will rank Algore and Suzukers scam as bigger than the tulip bulb scam. Here we run to Copenhagen to make “WHO” like us, who cares what these leftie limp-wristed euro poofters like anyway! Man up Steve and Jim and Rob and don’t sell out Alberta and Canada, or be ready to look for employment. You all might just get a job in the military saving Europes ass yet once again like Nort America has had to do twice already. Millies these europ-a-dopes.
What is the Russian angle?
the Russians are very proud of their hackers.
what else ya gonna do when you run out of vodka early in the evening? LOL !!!
to them I say Спасибо
There is no mystery to the Russian angle. They are and always have been realists. What they do is play the politically correct, the indoctrinated and others such, to see what they can get out of them.
Maybe the way to look at it is like this.
You want to arrest your society by stupid laws, go ahead make my day, we can exploit that.
You want to worship your dear leader, go ahead and knock yourself out. (You have to remember that during the communist rule, nobody really believed what they had to say and do, not even the communists themselves).
The “journalists” would tell you stories about the Russians. Like most of anything else the “journalists” journal about, the key and root is the point is omission, the whole story is no good, too many mundane and truthful things get in the way of exciting garbage.
If anybody cares, your agent is not a Russian.
I believe that Harper is going with the possibility that he may be able to influence the meeting in some way. Was he not instrumental in insisting that developing countries be brought on board for any new agreement? Harper has been accused of calling Kyoto a “socialist” plot. I think it is possible that he still views the AGW agenda this way — but of course cannot take that position which would be ridiculed by the media. I think he will try to make the best of a bad situation — without giving away the store. His rationale for some of the policies established around curbing use of fossil fuels has never been to prevent climate change (I have never heard him speak in those terms) — but he has made the point that we need to reduce our dependence on oil before oil runs out. I think this is his rational for going along with any of this — but I do feel he is overall watchful of Canadian’s interests.
I hope that Harper and Prentice have a strategy that includes sowing dissent among the countries by questioning the integrity of the scientific research.
Australia’s Senators are coming to their senses due to the allegations of fraudulent science. For some, I’ll bet the allegations flowing from the leaked documents was the out they needed. If Australia gets off the bandwagon, a country like Canada can go in for the kill.
I was going through the comments on CBC’s ‘Skewed Emails’ story. (See Mark at 6:22pm)
Two hundred-plus so far, and it doesn’t appear as if they’re ‘East-Anglia-ing’ the comments the way some of the other media sites are doing.
I think the pressure was building and they had to provide a token, cursory release vent.
After not doing the Climategate story, Mesley introduces a story on the Afghan Detainee Transfer issue and punctuates the report by going to the clip archive and adding [paraphrasing], “…Gordon O’Connor had to apologize in Parliament for misleading Canadians…”
I really wonder what kind of sorry excuse for a human being who claims to be a journalist could read that from a teleprompter knowing that as she does she and her network are misleading Canadians by covering up the bombshell that is Climategate, and using their tax dollars to do it. I’m flabbergasted.
good grief: alex jones? as in 9/11 truther alex jones? climategate may indeed be a scandal, but let’s be careful about who we make alliances with
Большое спасибо Kate.
“good grief: alex jones? as in 9/11 truther alex jones? climategate may indeed be a scandal, but let’s be careful about who we make alliances with”
You don’t sound much like a conservative. You sound more like the curiously wired lefties who accuse opponents of the human rights commissions of being “nazi-sympathizers” because certain US websites are also opposed to them.
I didn’t see Joy Behar accused of “trutherism” because she’s in agreement with 99% of Rosie’s other “View”s.
So, in other words, get a clue. It’s a rip-roaring funny video, nothing more and nothing less.
And no, dingbat, I believe in anything but the fraud of AGW, I’m just saying, be careful who you ally yourself with……
Posted by: DanBC at November 26, 2009 8:21 PM
I don’t ally with anyone. I want the research info to make my own decisions, Kate’s site included. The Reader Tips here is a brilliant idea. Jone’s site puts more info up in a day than all the MSM combined. Example, someone posted Project Blue Beam, what the hell is that? Thunderbolts of the Gods, there is a site now? Horizon, HAARP, etc. Congress clips with the banksters. Enough said.
It hasn’t been verified if this is Pravda or not.
It makes some logic if it is. Russia doesn’t need it’s recovering economy hobbled by KYOTO II.
Russia’s main source of export income comes from exporting energy to Europe—think about Alberta on steroids……
I grew up in the Cold War. I don’t no weather to laugh or cry over the irony of it. Good on the Russians for telling the truth.
As an aside just for interest. Moscow was a wooden city except for rare buildings like the Kremlin. Because of so many fires they had in reserve. Two exact duplicates of the city in storage. The first pre fabricated buildings. Evidence goes back to the 8th century of this practice.
“Russia doesn’t need it’s recovering economy hobbled by KYOTO II.”
Plus I’m sure Russians know a Socialist scam when they see one. They just might not want to tread down that road again.
I’m sure the average Russian is amazed at the stupidity of the West in adopting all these Marxist policies that they just spent decades trying to get rid of.
Kate: Звук разразившегося ада.
> Plus I’m sure Russians know a Socialist scam when they see one.
Yes, we do, gord. But when we point out, people in the West usually don’t listen until they are scammed.
> I’m sure the average Russian is amazed at the stupidity of the West
> in adopting all these Marxist policies that they just spent decades trying to get rid of.
You bet. Coming across the ocean to escape from socialism and finding out it’s same balls viewed from another angle is terrifying, like I pointed out many times in the past.
OT: By now I pulled my other son from public school too. Both boys are being homeschooled. I noticed two pieces of paper in his notepad last night – they are passes that the schools of the area use to control student movement. For a person from USSR it is unfathomable why Canadians don’t shoot those who introduce those passes. You should, or soon you will have to produce papers to go to a corner store.
Does anyone have the website for that Russian news site?
Aaron said “Yes, we do, gord. But when we point out, people in the West usually don’t listen until they are scammed.” You got that right. And “Coming across the ocean to escape from socialism”. Ditto here, just a few decades sooner, maybe.
