  1. Canada should work on commercials like this to run in the USA as destructive Obamanomics takes hold. Oh wait, we have McGuinty doing his best to emulate Collyvornya. Maybe the other provinces, then.

  2. Alberta could have been a beacon of good sense and better management, but that boat has sailed.

  3. Feeling taxed to death by ‘progressives?’
Move your business to Saskatchewan while the movin’ is good. Together, we can keep it that way.

  4. Re Toyota
Here locally Toyota has a brand new plant building Rav4’s….at half capacity….despite Ontario’s McQuinty’s environment—-without the California problems.
CAMI–(GM/Suzuki) is back in production–allegedly not building it’s product(Equinox) as fast as US dealers are selling them….the cash for clunkers collapse may change that tho-

  5. I hear on Limbaugh today that Ahhhhhnold is holding a garage sale. Surplus state of California equipment is being sold at a warehouse and on eBay/Craigslist to raise money for the state government.
You remember the old days when the Lefties used to suggest the Navy have a bake sale to fund their new aircraft carrier? Here’s the Lefty run state of California actually doing it.
Its so ironic, its made of iron. ~:D

  6. Stricker and Kathryn, I’ll vote for that. Scuttled is right. That is what you get when you vote “Progressive”. Deafdog, I cannot imagine anyone being able to explain anything to Nancy Pelosi, especially Harry Reid.

  7. Harry is probably telling Nancy that he’s doing his best to wreck Nevada too.
Went to Disneyland a few month’s back and ran into some Disney World employees. They were amazed at how much more expensive Disneyland was compared to Disney World. Their explanation: the red tape that California puts on everything makes it all about TWICE as expensive
Bloody shame, the Happiest Place on Earth located in the middle of a black hole of sheer stupidity

  8. I guess the Advert industry suddenly realized that California is not the MOST loved State in America. Sleaze (Pelosi) & Crackers (Boxer)
Why is this not good for California? Heck if a single young person can get $4,600 per month for a fictional disability (NO TAXES) why should they care if industry, and those dumb tax-paying employees, move to Nevada? Its difficult to tell if the disability funds come from State or Federal (call Nancy) sources.

  9. Weren’t you the people that thought Arnold would be the great Republican senator.
    Short memories indeed.

  10. See ED you too could have avoided 7 billion in debt even with the high petro dollar. He has no excuse except he brought on a crisis on his lonesome with his winged liberal monkeys.
All you had to do was srop being a socialist fool.
Than like the good folks of Vegas offer all types of incentives but not only to oil companies.
Thank God for Ralphs flat tax.
I slaute the good folks of Nevada. You had me sold at tax free.

  11. Weren’t you the people that thought Arnold would be the great Republican senator.
    ~Right of centre

I’ll admit that I thought Arnold Schwarzenegger would be a good Republican Governor for California.
    I was wrong.
It turns out he is a mediocre Democrat Governor for California who merely calls himself a Republican.
    I should have known better.
Governor Schwarzenegger is married to the niece of Ted Kennedy.

  12. When the Canadian Feds poured their stimulus into the provincial coffers, that probably evaporated remaining sensibility (if there was any left).
Last night, driving someone from Pearson to Toronto downtown, I observed the northbound 427 all blocked by construction and traffic backed up all the way to QEW. Driving from Toronto, trying to get onto 427 North I am hitting the pylons, have to take QEW West. It’s backed up too. Ended up on 403, after sitting in traffic for 1 hour.
How brain dead Ontario government has to be to start construction at rush hour on both highways leading out of the city core? Dude, 1 hour in traffic, both my son and I were hungry, thirsty and sleepy. Pure luck that I put gas in the truck before leaving, I would have ended up on the roadside waiting for a tow if I did not.
How brain dead one has to be to block both 427 and QEW West???

  13. The elements of American ethos that inspired those commercials will save the USA. That ethos is still strong amongst the majority of Americans and it will prevail. JMO

The Alberta boat didn’t sail – it was scuttled.

Quite so. Time to get rid of that idiot Stelmach.

  15. Perhaps this is the beginning of the end of the Californication that has beset both of our nations for so long now.
