  1. “Wind Concerns Ontario”.
Hmm… that’d be about the fears on the part of many Ontarians that McGuinty will open his mouth and say something scary… Like he’s gonna sink their tax dollars into it big time…

  2. The day that wind power or solar power is viable with not one cent of government money I will say go for it. Until it reaches that point why are we even talking about it?

  3. All the while that rural Ontario was under attack from MacSlippery and his new “acts” such as the Natural Heritage Study, Clean Water Act, Source Water Protection Act and Endangered Species Act all we got from urbanites on the fringes of the cities was a yawwwwwwwwwwn. Now MacSlippery has come for them with the Green Energy Act and they are howling over the unsightly wind turbines and solar parks and how they will hurt THEM and devalue their property.
Just who voted this terd with the green agenda back in for another term in Ontario? The very people screaming now…imagine that…he came for you to.

  4. with respect to the Clash.
when the kick down your front door.
    how you gonna come
with the wind at your back
    or blowing out your bum.

  5. Well blow me down, listen, put the wind farm next to McGuinty’s house, nobody will notice if he suffers cognitive loss.

  6. additional PROOF that gubbamint is manned by thugs and bullies.
they ALL do it. all of them.

  7. When governments don’t hesitate to rush headlong into the most obvious of feel good, do something, impractical farces, it is always helpful if there is someone with enough backbone to “follow the muunaaye” and blow the whistle. Oh, and judges that don’t get coy about handing out long prison time.

  8. “Gag orders for wind companies”
I guess how else could McStinkly dupe the public besides McLying..

  9. There is still time to voice any concerns with the implementation of the Green Energy and Economy Act. The govt has issued draft regulations and procedural guidelines through the EBR (formal comments were due in July though). Contact your MPP and let them know that individuals and municipalities deserve a greater role in the process. Keep a close watch through the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy website, and continue to question everything put forward by Minister Smitherman. Once the regs are in place, we will have to wait for the next provincial election to change the govt and restore some democracy to the approval process for power generation facilities.

  10. Why not get some dynamite or C4 and take them down?
A little community organizing is all it would take really.

  11. Couldn’t be happening to a more deserving bunch. That’s what they get for voting in McSlippery. Not that red Tory was much better.

  12. the Aeolian harp …a serious inquiry into windiness…
    hakkaf….
“I have become death the destroyer of worlds…so
when death you fly I am the wings”
    and so on….
i enjoy giving “new’ ideas a classical turn…it’s gives them proportion….and balance as it were….

    yeah really…….
Wind power jump started the industrial revolution…
This is really a step backwards….
The age of wind power didn’t end because we ran outa wind….anymore than the stone age ended because we ran outa rocks…….

    I’m impressed…quoting the VEDAs……

  15. you just have to see the visual mess these things created on the end of wolfe island here in beautiful downtown ontario.

  16. Sasquatch, LOL. Exactly. The state of Iowa is erecting these eyesores like there’s no tomorrow. The state population is so small, @ 54 persons to the square mile, that any new tower is a huge boost in per capita green power equations. Manna to the liberals currently engulfing the state population centers conveniently remote from any wind turbine vistas.

  17. Green parties has good ideas but
While they could not commit to carry it
But idea of Green and environment in future is very important
it will bring prevent cost rather than spending today so much cost because of bad weather people pay more to damage for
Weather changes today to destroy all infrastructures of too many places in USA, in Asia and etc.
We need equipment while costly to made in jungle act like water Sprinklers for water lawn used to stop fire in jungle by made road and open spray thing when fire started
This equipment never made can be built to stop all costly stop fire is more cost than to prevent fired in jungle now
Used all aero plans to carry ice from north pool to stop fire in jungle faster or similar steps
Or transfer water from ocean to jungle with right pipe design for it
That sprinkler can have stop fume and fire and not only has water but has chemical transfer when it needed

in Ocean made with similar like concrete wall that can be come up and down like a door up or down when in Florida all windy day bring more pressure of water to city those wall can go up and stop water to come close to civilian kill and damage too many houses building this wall is costly but can be possible
open and close like skydom model in Toronto ceiling when it needed that wall should go down and up for time of bad weather to stop pressure of water do not come close to people resident the same
Like Made electricity from water turbine But must this wall go down and up when it needed around certain resident like Florida or west in Canada

  18. Yes dear, calm down…it’ll be all right, that little pill is waiting in the medicine cabinet. Go get it and dream your dreams. Dream on, new. Dream on in the New World you came so far to see.
