  1. The worts part of this whole story is that when the passengers got off the train the Starbucks across from the Starbucks was closed.
    Tragic.

  2. “And behold, when they all stood at the other Starbucks, they gazed back, to find the other Starbucks was closed. Truly, the end of the universe.” [Thank-you L. Black]
And could it be also a coincidence that these disturbing schemes are hatched and implimented in close proximity to where Starbucks infiltrate?

  3. Maybe they should check the solarpanels, or windmills or whatever they are using for green power these days in Seattle. I know what it was… solar eclipse… bada boom.

  4. This is just like Edmonton’s LRT.
Good thing we have cars. If they (suzuki’s) ever make transit the only means of transportation. Expect strikes like Toronto’s garbage pirates.

  5. And from the comments at the link provided, the headline of the day.
“HEADLINE: Power failure disrupts Seattle light rail service
    7 riders inconvenienced…”

  6. More Y2Kyoto:
In a related article, entitled “Treason in the Air”*, Bjorn Lomborg says:
    1. “Although science has demonstrated that CO2 from fossil fuels is heating the planet,”.
Here Lomborg is saying that the “science is settled”.
The science is not settled. There is no evidence that CO2 “is heating the planet”.
2.”Much of the American McCarthyism of the 1940’s and 1950’s was driven by the same burning faith in the righteousness of the mission”.
This is evidence that Lomborg is a liberal and is spouting the left-liberal line.
McCarthy uncovered communist-Reds as proven by the Venona project:
Joe McCarthy Secret Hearings to Be Unveiled Monday
5 May 2003 … With the declassification of Venona, McCarthy has been proven right … As it is the number of Spies that McCarthy talked about fairly well …

  7. I know liberals are not into cost/benefit ratios, but can you imagine how much this pig will cost per passenger mile over time? Unbelievable.

  8. Seriously, can anyone shed some light on what goes through a liberal’s mind to justify this sort of nonsense? I just don’t get it.

  9. ima
Simple, dreams of a “monorail” style showtune in the middle of the city.

  10. The politicians who sold the plan to the residents of Seattle got the payola. The dummies who elected those crooks get to pay.
The collective intelligence of these regions that are infected with the liberal disease just keeps going lower.
