Margolis’ faux outrage might be more believable if would bother, just once, to add context to one of his spittle-flecked anti-Western rants. For instance, he could point out Libya’s “assasination” (to use Margolis cringeworthy redefinition of the term) of 270 civilians on Flight 103 and Scottish soil which precipitated the ruin of his hero Khadaffi’s palace which caused Eric such moaning and consternation.

I remember concluding Margolis was just a garden variety lefty and hence never bothered to read his pieces. But I stumbled upon an travel artical he wrote up on Belguim once thinking ok i’ll read it – it’s not political. I’m not an authority on the country but it was filled with the most preposterous mistakes and assertions. This in the era of wikipedia and google… He’s a lefty but he’s also just plain dumb.

He might have been a friend of Pharaoh Ramses the second but he didn’t drop Ramses’ name in that column.

I sent them a scathing email, told them to shove the balance of the subscription and now do my newspaper browsing for free at the local library.
I got a LONG memory for details. I use search engines to confirm what I already know.
