  4. And did you hear the woman with cancer, who was hugged by O at a town hall (she is a democratic staffer) say after the event she was not happy with his answer. She wanted him to cure her. That could explain his cult following, they think they are at a revival and must come forward to be healed. Big shock coming for all americans. Let’s hope they wake up by 2010.

    Irony is that Barry Owe is not an authentic American Black; he is an imposter, a poseur. He has no ancestry of slavery, except, possiblky the Arab variety in his home country.   20. The worse the better. We need to see the full idiocy of looter politics in time for Americans to wake up for the 2010 elections and take away some of Obama’s power to do damage without restraint.
    But republicans need to find a real leader if Obama is to be only a one term lesson in reality. Right now they are imploding something fierce.

    I’d heard about the guaranteed income for 150% “poverty” recipients on the Mark Levin show, and I could only shake my head in wonder. Can there be any doubt left that this entire cap/trade (“kill & tax”, as Levin puts it) is nothing more than a wealth redistribution scheme?
    If this bill doesn’t die in the senate, it spells doom for the US

    It used to be said that the sun never sets on the British empire. You can now conclude that we are witnessing Twilight in the entire west. Twilight being the time just before darkness.
    Well, time to learn how to shoot. It may be the new “in-demand” skill. Those who refuse to fight don’t deserve to survive – and won’t. Figuratively and maybe even literally.

  26. And here’s a question – if cap and trade is supposed to discourage energy use through higher prices – what’s the incentive for the 65 million Americans to reduce their usage if the government’s going to pay for it anyway?

  31. My understanding is that the California IOU’s July 1st and on until a budget is passed, do not go to welfare or unionized Cal State workers, but rather to business that supply goods and services to the State.

    It’s coming; EVERYTHING is riding on it. This is why I suggested months ago to bail-out from this sinking ship, PMSH has. Maybe I’m wrong, time will tell. I’m sure Kathy will be here to slam me and call me “the problem” in the mean time.
