Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

dave, lookout, others – I’ve tried email quite a few times. And all I get are pro forma ‘automatic’ replies.
With regard to the HRCs, I’ve written to quite a few MPs, and, some CPC ones do write back (no other party MPs do).
With regard to my suggestion about the internet, about communicating information about what the govt is doing – just the form reply. Nothing.
Someone has to go and sit someone down and hammer them over the head. One comment I’ve heard, from a friend, non-government, is that possibly the govt is concerned about making the information easier to access because then the provinces, towns, cities would start to complain and say ‘hey, so and so got 5 million; why am I only getting 1 million’.
I don’t know. However, I think that we citizens ought to be informed about our tax dollars, and we ought to be informed about government programs.
Hear, hear, ET!
One fact that no one can deny: There was no repeat of 9/11 on Bush’s watch. He delivered on the number one responsibility of the President and Commander-in Chief. He kept the Homeland safe from further terrorist attacks. For this we should be forever grateful to Pres. George W. Bush.
Excellent. Very much appreciated. Already, I am sorry to see him go. No doubt he’s rejoicing on the ranch.
Rather you love him or hate him Bush has to be the easiest president in history to make fun of. There has been an outpouring of art work done in relation to George Bush based on a wide variety of issues. I compiled the funniest images of Former president Bush from artists around the world at, Best of Bush. There are some truly inspired funny animations there there is even one with him smoking a glass water pipe. In the end how would you define Bush’s presidency, comedy or tragedy, I mean if you had to pick one:)
