  9. What’s the deal about Little Green Footballs? I haven’t visited there in some time, but “Biggest Pro-Censorship Ass-Hat*” makes no sense to me. I looked for a footnote denoted by the asterisk, in case this was a joke, but could not find one.

    Makes sense if you follow Charles Johnson’s modus operandi.
    The SoCal hippie dude is an ego maniac. Check his ‘openings’ to register in order to comment on his site. Check his one man war against anybody who even slightly disagrees with him about evolution. Then check his unwarranted attacks against Andrew Bostom, Robert Spencer and Diane West, to name just a few.
    All incredibly gifted writers, courageously unveiling Islam.
    Despite the good he may have accomplished in the past, this guy is an asshat. And I believe, of the worst sort.

    Charles Johnson fully deserves the “honour” of being the Biggest Pro-Censorship Ass-Hat of 2008. Yes the CHRC et al are even more evil than CJ, but unlike him they don’t pretend to be conservatives. Here is a link to the actual poll. There are 411 comments in this thread, running more than 80% against CJ. Please take the time to read through them, as many are quite entertaining and they do a good job of explaining why CJ is in fact KING of all ass-hat censors.
