  4. Obama’s resume and experience will eventually become an issue in this campaign when the time is right – just be patient.
    McCain is a master strategist – just watch and see what happens.

  5. I don’t think he even knows anymore what his reality is. He becomes in his mind what his dream says he should be and that is all it takes.
    Meetings with German bond traders that didn’t happen, leading Senate Committees that he wasn’t a member of, invisible secretaries on his climb up the promotion ladder.
    There is a pattern of make believe in him.
    Any six foot rabbits missing anywhere ??

  6. Apart from the egomania which is a basic requirement for those in politics, what I find interesting is the attempt to sell him as a person rooted in black American culture. Yet neither his ancestry (50% white, 44% Zanzibar arab, 6% african), nor his upbringing provide any basis for this claim.
    What clique discovers and grooms people like Obama and Kerry and has the ability to place them front and centre and cause the money trees to rain support on them is a complete mystery to me. Bet a truthful book on the subject would make millions.

    Call me naive, but I think that POTUS should be one job that doesn’t require an embellished resume.

  10. He may forget or invent as is convenient, but his shady background is being revealed, layer by layer, the backgroud that his campaign have tried to flush down the memory whole.

  11. Everyone seems to be missing a point here that explains where that level of embelishment might come from.
    The man is 47 years old and had already written his memoirs four years ago!!
    I don’t even think that Churchill had written a book about himself by 43, and he would have at had done something book worthy by that age.

  12. You know what’s an embellishment? Claiming you fought against a large-scale project you lobbied for. Except it’s also called an outright lie.
    You know what else is a lie? Saying you fought earmarks when your state received more than any other under your leadership.
    Now that’s a shady background for you.

    John V, Who Hoo! You and I are on the same page. I’ve posted that too. He’s the ultimate chipher(sp?), the ultimate blank page with no values or core being of his own. He is whatever in the moment he is required to be.

    Those who embellish too much generally get caught out and fired, if they get hired at all. Only a lazy or completely hoodwinked employer would fail to do the background checks to see whether the resume is simply embellished or is a collection of fantasy and fraud.
