And I’m kicking myself for not putting my prediction to a post a few days ago, when I mentioned it to someone privately.
Sarah Palin – “extremist”.
When Joe Biden channels Warren Kinsella, you know how badly she has them rattled.
Will Biden join the host of growing pile of bodies under Obama’s bus? More conjecture here!
Related – The McCain-Palin campaign has already bagged and field-dressed two network “anchors”. Who cares if they’re endangered!

I thought one of them might have been Gwen Ifills from PBS’s The NEWSHOUR with Jim Lehrer.
She was pulled from commentary the night after Sarah Palin’s speech, and there were a lot of letters to OnlineNewsHour commenting on her extremely negative spin of the Republican National Convention, especially vis a vis Governor Sarah Palin–the Gwen Grimace, I called it, because the look on her face as she handed off to Jim Lehrer in the broadcast booth said it all: What a bunch of neanderthals these GOPers are.
I don’t actually know if she was “pulled,” but she didn’t show up on the convention floor or do any interviews the night of Senator John McCain’s speech. She was GONE.
testy
Yep, that Palin ~~ she’s an extremist if I’ve ever seen one — ya know, eh! She probably slaughters baby seals for fun (in her spare time) and rolls around naked on a polar bear skins — I just know it, don’t cha know…
Let’s take a closer look at militant feminist VAWA Joe Biden’s record courtesy rightbias.com, especially his role in passing the most anti-family legislation in American history:
“Amidst the hoopla surrounding Sen. Joseph Biden’s ascendancy to the right hand of Barack Obama, something was curiously missing. Over the last 15 years, Biden has repeatedly bragged to his friends and colleagues, “What I’m most proud of in my entire career is the Violence Against Women Act.” So why no mention of his legislative pride-and-joy amidst the flurry of text messages, press releases, and staged public appearances?
The answer is, VAWA has become something of an embarrassment to the good senator.
The Violence Against Women Act and related laws extract $1 billion from the federal purse and dispense the money to law enforcement agencies, legal aid programs, and abuse shelters. So what’s wrong with that?
Over the last two months I have documented a series of scandals at the nation’s abuse shelters. These articles have reported instances of drug abuse, dating parties for shelter residents, gross mistreatment of disabled residents, and assaults on shelter residents. And the eye-opener that the great majority of shelter residents are there for reasons that have nothing to do with domestic violence.
The investigation also reveals a broader pattern of managerial incompetence, lack of accountability, and a man-hating ideological agenda.
…
(snip a bunch of VAWA horror stories)
…
Forget everything you learned in your high school civics class about due process, innocent until proven guilty, and equal treatment under law. VAWA-inspired laws have carved out an Alice-in-Wonderland world in our legal system in which any partner disagreement qualifies as domestic “violence,” in which persons never qualify “offender” with the word “alleged,” and in which a person so accused can seldom restore his good name.
…
(snip a few more VAWA horror stories)
…
Despite recurring accounts like this, Sen. Biden has shown no interest in reforming the law. Incredibly, he wants to expand it.
This last year he introduced two new bills, the International Violence Against Women Act and the National Domestic Violence Volunteer Attorney Act. The second bill would farm out $55 million to the American Bar Association to sign up legal “volunteers” so they can chase more low-income dads away from their children.
I know, it all seems incredible — welcome to the wacky and wonderful world of VAWA, where a woman’s word is proof enough.
There’s more to Biden’s VAWA cover-up. Because Mr. Biden is a victim himself of domestic violence. Here’s Biden’s testimony during Senate hearings on December 11, 1990 where he revealed the abuse meted out by his older sister, Valerie:
“In my house, being raised with a sister and three brothers, there was an absolute – it was a nuclear sanction, if under any circumstances, for any reason, no matter how justified, even self-defense – if you ever touched your sister, not figuratively, literally. My sister, who is my best friend, my campaign manager, my confidante, grew up with absolute impunity in our household.”
And this was Sen. Biden’s bell-ringer: “And I have the bruises to prove it. I mean that sincerely. I am not exaggerating when I say that.”
Valerie Biden Owens continues to this day to serve as one of the senator’s closest political confidantes.
I won’t pretend to fathom the psychology of a man who was severely abused by his older sister, and then later went on to champion an unconstitutional law designed, by name, to only protect women.”

Biden will stay the course. Hillary won’t bail out Obama – if she does, she’s gone for good. Obama has to go down for Hillary to succeed. The Obamaton’s campaign team will try to frame the debate on Sarah’s perceived weakness in foreign policy. Turns out she may be no slouch on the economic stuff – she actually nailed the Freddy Mac thing earlier, notwithstanding Huff ‘n Puff’s attempt to bully.
Her interviews from February 2008 are a good watch.
She speaks very well. I’ve put them up here if people can’t find them on youtube.
Matthews & Olbermann are such losers – at least somebody is ’cause apparently Olbermouth’s contract is worth 4 mill.
Well Sarah has used the word ‘reform’ a lot. I think that is what irritares the left the most. Extreme? Reformers have to be, they are battling the status quo.
I have fond memories of the Reform movement in Canada.
Ahhhh…the good old days….
Annoying leftist windbag radio host Lynn Samuels floated the same theory…
Expect Biden’s sickness right to happen after the BJ Clinton/Obama meeting this week, apparently.
He’ll go off to a hair clinic for replugging.
Move Over Barbie… Gun Toting Sarah Palin Dolls Go On Sale
Here’s the proof she is an extremist. Or as a liberal would say: “Da proof is da proof.”

Well, if “extremist” doesn’t work, they can always fall back on the tried and true…
WITCH!! Look, a witch!!! Burn her, burn her, burn her!!!
But then, that would offend the Wiccans, so maybe that won’t work, either.
Actually, someone pointed out to me that all of the calls of “racist!” and “sexist!” and “denier!” are really just updated versions of “witch!”. That comment made sense to me.
Now CNN is going after Palin for going to a Pentecostal church where some people (gasP09 speak in tongues.
Ohhhhh scary.
2 weeks… The dems are waiting until Palin gets past her first few MSM interviews where they’ll get to see if she has anything more in the tank. One this week, one on Sunday and one more next week.
Face it, Obama can’t get out of this jam. He picked a tired boring old blowhard whose own two primary runs ended in defeats. Obama’s attack dogs in the media will keep trying but their days of steering an election are long over. Palin is a Black Swan event. It just happens and everything changes.
Hillary announced she will keep her focus only on McCain in her support appearances. She knows she will throw away any future goodwill by directly attacking Palin.
So, so far the big losers are team Obama, Hillary, Oprah, the old guard feminists, the MSM, not bad for a week’s work. Maybe by the next election cycle MSNBC, the NYT’s and a good segment of the usual lefty journo hacks will be gone. Let’s hope we can add the terrorists as big losers to the list on election night.
🙂 Never was impressed with Olbermann and the like, just too much with willful bias to impress the willfully ignorant.
The Dems are a rudderless scow. That old fox, McCain’s choice of Sarah Palin has would them up like a top and pulled the string.
Hillary will probably show a bit of class by refusing to have anymore to do with Obama. That would give her a chance another run in only four years.
If she did take the bait and jump in as replacement veep then the people of America would see her as a bigger political whore than they already know she is.
I may not like Hillary much, but I think she is smarter than all them on the Left. Would trust her in Oval office sooner than Obama.
I would say it’s actually extreme to believe that man has control over the climate.
Could not agree more John V. I have been reading a lot of news and HRC is going to take some half hearted jabs. She is smart and her time will be 2012 for her run at the POTUS.
“I would say it’s actually extreme to believe that man has control over the climate.”
Extreme and quite naive.
Yep, this SURE is normal.
[Hillary] is smart and her time will be 2012 for her run at the POTUS.

Indeed, it’s not implausible to see things unfolding to reveal a Hillary vs. Palin presidential campaign in 2012.
Obama has to go down for Hillary to succeed.
Skip.Surely you jest Oh wait.It worked for her hubby.Maybe a Big “O” does Shillary ticket?
Having seen Sen. Biden perform at a number of Senate gun control hearings during the Clinton Dark Ages, I am amazed at Obama picking him. The man is an arrogant, irritating, bone-stupid sack of wind. Kind of a walking “F- You!”, a perambulating raised finger as it were.
Which tells me a lot about Obama. That guy is not a self created powerhouse, he’s a “made man”, a chosen face for other people to speak through.
McCain I don’t like. Too bad, he wangled the Republican nomination, conservatives have some underbrush to cut in the party. Get out the chain saws, kids.
But as much as I don’t like him, I’d vote for him in a millisecond over a cypher like Obama.
I continue to be amazed that anybody can refer to the vice-Presidential nominee of the party that has won seven of the past ten Presidential elections as being “extreme”. That comes pretty close to calling the majority of the American electorate extreme. If I were the vice-Presidential nominee of a party that has won a majority of the popular vote in a Presidential election precisely twice since 1944 (1964 and 1976, the latter by approximately 100,000 votes), I’d worry a lot more that I was “extreme”.
Naw, someone who says no abortions even in the case of incest or rape isn’t extreme!
This Election will be won by the Party with an American Energy Plan.. That means that he/she has the plan that targets $2.00 per Gal,in the near future. Presently Obama and MaCain are just whores for opposite special interests that both support >$5.00
Obama may blow-off California (think Biden) and he and Dem’s will get a home run. The AGW group are a mill stone!
