Ascending The Cross

Is there nothing that Obama can’t do?

Today on CNN’s Situation Room … Donna Brazile tried to cement the image of The Messiah, and actually compared Barack Obama to Jesus Christ (the community organizer) and Sarah Palin to Pontius Pilate (the Governor).

But charges of “liberal media bias” are nothing more than the product of fevered neanderthal imaginations!

  1. CNN the COMMUNISTS,NEWS,NETWORK still hiring those liberal ding-bats comparing OBAMA to CHRIST when liberals are often ether atheists or muliculteral nut-cases

  2. They WANT Gov. Palin to be seen that way by targetted, blue-collar, male voters, as mentioned in a previous SDA thread. …

Hey, David, the white male blue collar vote wasn’t going to elitist whimpy Obama to begin with and certainly not after Rev. Wright and Obama’s infamous “clinging to guns and religion” utterance were added to his anti-white male baggage.

Penny, do you notice any difference between the voter demographic I mentioned, and the one you mentioned? Just asking.

  3. You would have thought a political pro like Donna would have avoided linking Obama to the one who did part the waters and saved the earth.

  4. Nobody but conservatives is drawing the Messiah comparison.
I know you guys take everything literally, like the bible, but this is something called a “simile”.
I know that sounds like elitist talk, but it’s really just one of the rudimentary elements of communication.

No. Do you? Unless you think “white” male blue collar isn’t an appropriate qualifier. Given that blacks will vote for Obama in the 90% plus range, you really don’t think that Palin was added to appeal to the much smaller black male blue collar demographic, or did you? McCain isn’t counting on any black votes, they’ve never been there for any Republican.
    So, what’s your point?
