  4. What puzzles me is how damaging private property and looting stores and homes, is a reaction to ‘the police’. It harms private individuals.
    Therefore, it’s pure criminality, using the excuse of ‘the evil police’ to ..be criminals.

    The paris riots and car burnings have in most cases, if not all, been carried out by muslims…and at the high of it all 300 towns/villages had cars burning.
    Montreal has a relatively large muslim population though I’m not seeing the parallel in this article. Any info on whether Villaneuva and friends were muslim?

  9. I asked a bunch of questions on another thread this morning about “the large group of Montreal youths” who swarmed the police:
    What does this statement mean, exactly? Does anyone know anything about these so-called “youths”? Who are they? What was their motive?

    One comment by the police chief alluded to the fact this was more than just a few “trouble makers”. He noted that one kid was 6 years old … in training I presume.
    Now if the riot had been some White rednecks from Alberta , then there is no problem spelling out exactly who is involved.

Frankly, I’m sick of taking the blame for every insensitive and crass incident that occurs in North America while at the same time my tax dollars are bankrolling these ungrateful and unwashed losers and associated enablers who manage to make it to our rarified shores. Keep the police safe from these lunies…What country are they from anyway…charging the police…not that I think they aren’t idiots at times…but they represent order in a society…something these so called in the press ‘ethnic’ groups don’t respond to. Can you or anyone imagine…charging a group of cops because you were pissed off at a ganster being killed…Herd them all into a small area, fence it off, give them weapons and let them all kill each other..it will save Quebec lots of money on all their social programs for all these ‘ethnic’ groups of immigrants and refugees.

  19. The guy shot by police was (in the gob & wail) from Hoduras, and most of the rioters are black, but many ethnics were represented
    give the pohleece hummers with 50 cals, and the authority to use them, should quell the desire to riot, and if not, sure cut the heart of of the riot(ers)!!!!!

  20. I am not for more social workers and basketballs courts, but the money that will go into the public inquiry into this incident could be better used.
    That huge Reasonable Accommodation inquiry we just had covered everything but the real question: how many immigrants should we have, from what countries and with what values. The countries like Honduras, Haiti and Jamaica that value gangs should be low on the list. And is it worth it bringing in so many Muslims considering the security costs they may cause?
    And while I am not for affirmative action, for sure most of the civil service and police in Quebec are lily white and quebecois – they hire their own. The federal government here also hires few anglos and minorities.

  22. According to the National Post the thugs were latinos and blacks. A gang of about 20 swarmed a policeman and policewoman and one opened fire hiting 3 of them, killing one. The female officer was shot in the thigh. Of course instantly the police were accused of racial profiling, sound familiar. Any breakdown in social order is an excuse to go shopping and the looting begins. Many gangs taunt the police and gangs poured into the area once the shooting stopped.
    Hotel Canada is letting in undesirables from around the world and we are just starting paying the price. Why liberals can’t see the danger of this is beyond me. Is the short term goal of votes worth the eventual destruction of our country, seems to be in their eyes.

  24. A Honduras “criminal” ( most probably a criminal since he physically attacked a police woman ) is shot by police,
    Latinos and Haitians start rioting and looting and much more (such as shooting a police woman in the leg )
    and I am convinced there were some Muslims there too because they live in that sector and some of the rioters were wearing masks…connect the dots… (but the media decided to pretend all Muslims stayed home that night…).
    Latinos, Blacks and Arabs united as one people rioting, looting and attacking anyone, journalist, ambulance drivers, policemen!…A fine example of multiculturalism!… Don’t you agree my dear liberals?…

  26. A shoot looters to kill order would stop the rioting in a hurry. It wouldn’t solve any of the underlying problems, but at least the small shop owners wouldn’t be losing their means of supporting their families. Most insurance policies are voided in the event of a civil insurrection.

  27. A ctv reporter described the area as ‘diverse’. She went on to sat that it was made up of people from 6 or 7 different countries,and the french and english. No mention of any Islamic country. Ezra won a battle,we are still losing the war.

    Has multiculturalism really been a strength for Canada and the rest of western society? I suppose that would depend on what side of the fence you were sitting on before it all began.
    If you were born and raised as a person living in the luxury of your grandparents toils (as a European or descendent of), you may now look forward to your grandchildren raised as second class citizens without an identity. A global third world, with a rewritten history in favor of the new masters who will enforce the shame and guilt upon them for their cultural identity. At least it’ll be a multicultural society.

    I don’t say this lightly, but this website is less factually accurate and less trustworthy than the MSM. Again, Muslims are wrongly and repeatedly blamed for a crime here at SDA, and not a single one of the “thousands” of readers mentions that might not be cricket. And you people have the nerve to criticize the media for their reporting.
    Doing the right thing still matters, folks, not for altruistic reasons but ultimately for selfish reasons.
    And for the Islamophobes: your brilliant f*cking plan to replace Muslim immigrants with Haitian and Honduran immigrants is turning out exactly how I told you it would turn out. You got played like the fools that you are; by turning a blind eye to a decade of open immigration in lieu of focusing exclusively on hating Muslims you basically ruined your own country, permanently. It’s time to consider that the Islamophobic pundits and bloggers don’t have your best interests at heart.

    You know what? If Muslims were involved in this Montreal rampage, we wouldn’t be told. If Muslims were involved, who would inform the Canadian public? They’re a protected minority. And why would that be? Would fear and appeasement have anything to do with it?
    If we’re wrong, we wouldn’t know, because no one’s telling. And if we’re right, we wouldn’t know, because no one’s telling. So, one might be allowed to conjecture: No one at SDA is selling their opinions, like the many minions in the MSM.
    We’re having a conversation, and we won’t know for a long, long time whether our conjectures are correct or not. Perhaps if our politicians and our MSM were more honest about the real state of things when these kinds of riots erupt–who’s really responsible–there’d be less of a need to wonder, aloud, what the heck’s going on.
    So take your smug “I told you so” attitude and try it on someone else. And educate yourself, ML, about what’s going on in Europe–and in your own backyard, for crying out loud–because of radical Islam, which is not, BTW, all Muslims, as much as you’d like to lump “Muslims” and “radical Islamists” together for the purpose of shooting down the straw man you so meticulously have created.

    Or in this case BBBBBBBBBBBANG reload BBBBBANG! since it was a police woman. Chicks tend to do that when guys five times their size try a beatdown on them. A trait I applaud, incidentally. Its even better when the woman under attack does the shooting, kind of a “flawless victory” thing, know what I mean?

    Second, have you ever noticed how the “non-ethnic” neighborhoods never seem to riot and burn sh1t? Toronto or Montreal or Vancouver, any time you see rioting because some cop awarded the Darwin Award to some imbecile its always always ALWAYS an “ethnic” neighborhood. Pardon me all to hell for not knowing which flavor of “ethnic” was under discussion, eh? Sometimes its hard to tell what variety is wrecking the place this week.
    I have a theory as to why this is, incidentally. I think its because when the cops hand out the Darwin Award to a “non-ethnic” imbecile, the rest of us non-ethnic types say “good job!” instead of making up a bunch of excuses for the idiot.     From what I understand the area of Montreal where this happened holds a large population of Haitians
    as well as Muslims from Lebanon and other countries.

I live in Montreal and for years, the Montreal-North neighbourhood has been notorious for street gangs, who are invariable either Haitian or Latino, the sons of immigrants from Haiti and South America. If they have any religious affiliation at all, it’s Roman Catholic (although I`d be willing to bet you won`t find too many altar boys). The neighbourhood is mostly immigrants from many countries, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia, but the young men who join street gangs are Haitian and Latino.

    Riots in the streets, burnt-out cars, attacking police…
    I thought the idea behind moving to Canada was for these groups to start new lives, to get away from the chaos and violence in their countries of origin…I guess I was wrong.
    ‘Seems like Canada’s laissez-faire multicultural-it’s-OK-to-keep-your-old-ways policies have aided and abetted the importing of violence and chaos to our cities.

  36. I have a small problem understanding this ‘playing dice’ that the ‘youths’ were doing before the trouble all started. When I was growing up ‘playing dice’ was an euphenism for ‘floating crap game’,which I think is still illegal.Of course,I may be wrong,the ‘youths’may have been just having a friendly game of ‘yahtzee’.

    If that police woman had let those colored “youths” beat her up, would the colored people of Montreal North have more trust in Police?
