1. Skinniness seems to be a bizarre thing to focus in on. If anything, Obama bucks the American norm: There are all too many morbidly obese African Americans out there.*
   Looking at presidents though (even presidential contenders), it does appear Americans don’t really like flabby heads of state. There hasn’t been a “fat” president since Taft.
   Oh yeah, I forgot, Clinton was never one to pass up on the snacks…
   * This should not be taken as “racism” on my part; I note that there is no lack of obese white Americans either. And here in Canada, we’re making magnificent progress in the excess weight department.

2. JJM, this has nothing to do with obesity, African Americans, or racism, it’s nothing more than a tactic to suppress any serious scrutiny of the Socialist Saviour, Barry Hussein.

3. The focus on ‘race’ is a deliberate strategy the the Obama team to…focus on race. It’s a tactic that says
   IF you don’t like Obama, there’s only one reason. You are a racist. The rhetoric goes like this:
   “You may ‘think’ you don’t like his policies, his socialism, his inexperience, his arrogance, his superficiality, his utopianism, his etc etc. But all of that is nonsense, Mr. Voter. The REAL reason you are against Obama is because you are a closet racist. So there”
   The strategy is to define any rejection or questioning of Obama as without any rational foundation. The REAL reason for such rejection is purely and only – racism.
   It’s quite a neat strategy.

5. Well put ET. It’s really simply a follow on from the primary campaign i.e. if you don’t like Barack Obama you’re a racist; if you don’t like Hillary you’re a misogynist. Vote on the basis of whichever guilt you feel most compelled to extirpate. It’s a perfect liberal campaign strategy — all guilt all the time. The problem now is that the crowd is no longer all-liberal but includes conservatives and undecideds and the misogynist card is off the table for the moment. So . . . the only guilt trip left is the race one ergo, any and all criticism of BO will be deemed racist by definition. It’s going to be a long and tedious autumn!

6. Let me get this straight.
   I don’t like Obama because I’m white and fat and he’s not?
   So nice of the liberal media to clarify that for me.
   All along I thought it was because he’s inexperienced, narcissistic, socialist-leaning, anti-military … need I say more?

7. So it’s clear now that post-racial really means that race is a central defining issue.
   If you look at how Obama becaue president of the prestigeous Harvard Law Review and what he did there (nothing) it’s clear that he is the US’s first Affirmative Action presidential candidate.
   It’s also clear that blacks like Rice, Thomas, Sowell, Powell, are Uncle Toms because you just never think of these eminent personages in racial terms. Which means that you’re a racist if you don’t think of their race.
   He’ll lose the election because he’s a communist and America will be considered a racist country for not choosing him on the basis of his race.

8. No one seems to care that the Islamic world is misogynist, no one seems to care that black people are racist toward white people.
   Black people have things like the United Negro College Fund, the NAACP, Martin Luther King Day, Affirmative action programs pretty much everywhere. All these are exclusively based on race … theirs!
   Yet, if white people started up a United Caucasian College Fund or NAAWP or some affirmative action for white people there would be jail time for those folks.
   I think the Negroes of America should themselves, institute a white people appreciation day since it was the white people of America who fought and died to free them from slavery and completely change the society to accommodate opportunity for black people.
   So far, I see Obama and his ilk as pack of ingrates who don’t even understand how lucky they are to be Americans.
   I wouldn’t vote for Obama, not only because of his lack of experience, stupidity and arrogance, but also because I don’t think black people can be trusted to run America. They have too big a chip on their shoulders and have expressed it time and again. They don’t care much for whitey and I think that would be reflected in an Obama presidency.
   An Obama presidency could lead to a lot of violence and other problems that America doesn’t need right now. The last thing Americans need to see is the hoard of people who hate America and hate whitey hanging out at the white house. And that is what would happen. Obama owes all those scum bags and they will show up at ‘his place’ …. count on it.
   There is still a big racial divide in America, but it is coming mostly from the black community.
   How is that black people regularly buy homes in white communities all over America, but I don’t think you will see too many white folks buying a home in a black community. They just aren’t safe and whitey ain’t welcome.
   I lived the US for many years and I have seen this first hand.
   Obama is a dangerous twit who and there are other people pulling his strings. He only wants the megalomaniacal hit of being the most powerful man in the world, he hasn’t a clue about what to do with that power. He is Chauncy Gardner with a good sense of rhythm and not more than that.

9. Most of you are too old to get this, but I’ve struck gold.
   Skinny black guy…hmmm…
   “Pookie”, that’s it, Barak “Pookie” Obama sounds about right to me.
   (fyi Pookie is the crack-head played by Chris Rock in New Jack City)

10. Man speaking to a woman: “I like what you’ve done with your hair.”
    Woman in response: “Mysogynist!!”
    White man speaking to a black man: “So, how’s about that weather, huh?”
    Black man in response: “Racist!!”
    This seems to be the natural next step…any form of communication between two distinct groups can be read from the perspective of being based on bigotry.

14. jeez, today i hear that all americans will be overweight by 2040. i guess that won’t apply if gas is 10 bucks a gallon and all the corn is being pumped into the cars.

15. Calling everyone a racist then demanding a favour of them (in this case a vote,) doesn’t seem like a very intellegent strategy.
    You may be able to brow-beat people into silence at a dinner party by screeching about “racist this and racist that”, but in a voting booth, there’s no one there but you and your pencil.
    Bullying won’t work there.
