It would seem that the leftoid boomers have passed on this lovely “hero of the revolution” to their offspring.   4. On Father’s Day, Obama made a speech where he chastised black fathers for not being there for their families, and saying that they had abandoned their responsibilities, and were acting more like boys than men. He was lauded for “facing unpleasant facts”.
    Any guesses as to how, say, John McCain, would have been referred to had he said the same things? My guess is the word with start with “r”, and end with “acist”.

  12. The best “Che-themed” T-shirt I ever encountered was in the UK a couple of years ago.
    A young guy walked past me at Charing Cross Station wearing a red T-shirt which had the usual “iconic” portrait of Che in his beret with the word REVOLUTION underneath.
    But wait – it wasn’t Che at all; it was a chimpanzee in a beret.
    And underneath it proclaimed DEVOLUTION.

    There is a huge difference between speaking a second language, and writing it. When speaking it,you are corrected and learn from it,not making the same mistake again and again. When you are writing it,it either comes out as complete gibberash, with NO repeating patterns, or as junk with the SAME repeating mistakes when you fully know and understand its written form and usage. All that we are making fun of is two things…that hayes/townnes/whatever is showing himself to be a complete and utter fool with everything he says and writes.

  49. I think one reason why Che is admired is his dedication. There are very few people in the world that have displayed the dedication that he did to the socialist movement. Even when Cuba was won over, Che went to Africa to continue the fight instead of just resting on his laurels and enjoying life in Cuba with all the kickbacks and whatnot that Castro made available to his closest partners.
