My apologies for the slow posting of the past few days. Since Friday I’ve been alternating between the paint booth and the vet clinic. So far, the count is up to one race car, one race helmet, two hard hats, a goalie mask, and a dog recuperating from cancer surgery. It’s been a hard, long week.

It might seem at times that you have no life other than blogging…
but we know the truth. It’s ok…really.
Totally understand.
You left out puppy patrol.
Hope you find time to ride….
Sorry Kate…I read that with crossed eyes….
so sorry to hear about the Ca.
The blogosphere can survive your having a life, Kate.
I hope your dog is doing well.
No need to apologize Kate. All we want is to see that little dead gopher popping up onscreen every day.
Sorry to hear about your dog, Kate. I lost a pet to cancer a few months ago, so I understand how straining it can be. Best of luck.
Kate my thoughts are with you, as a dog lover I know how hard this is. Hope all works out for both the dog.

Sorry Kate, both you and the dog.
Cheers
Kate who?????
Oh, the one always MIA :-)))))
sorry about the doggie, lost two to cancer myself. Hope your pup gets better!
You need to set priorities, dogs first, business second, and blogging whenever. We will survive.
Hope the little one will be just fine. It is the hardest part of having buds with paws.
Sorry to hear about the dog. I lost a favourite cat to cancer a few years ago. It was a tough loss. I have one now that has diabetes, who requires two shots of insulin a day.
(That reminds me – it’s time to dress up in my worst and dirtiest clothing, and wander down to the ‘hood’ for a needle exchange – got to find some way to cut down on the vet bills!)
No problem, Kate. I understand, as, for awhile now, I’ve been unable to pay as much attention to blogging as I normally am able to. Family matters and an upcoming move for which I’ve been preparing. I’m sure everyone understands as well.
You’ll be back, of course, as will I.
So sorry to hear your dog has cancer – I lost my dearly-beloved 14-year-old golden retriever to cancer last fall and it is very, very hard. Hunter is right – we need to set priorities, and dogs are first.
Hey Kate…Hows “Santa’s lil helper doing? Me’n Oscar the Cat want to know?
After all these years you want a break? Is that in your union contract?
I think you deserve it.

Well, I’m taking a break next week, but it’s the last significant show circuit for the summer. I’m looking forward to it, actually.
“Bruce” is doing well in his surgical recovery, but the prognosis is poor. He has hemangiosarcoma, which is an extremely aggressive cancer of the blood vessels.
So sorry to hear about your dog. This information about cancer diets is written by Lew Olson, who has a doctorate in natural nutrition. I’ve found her information valuable through the years.
