I suggested to friends in the Sask Liberals that their leader should team up with David Orchard. That way, they could travel the province together as “Wacky and Karwacki.”

No matter what Dion does here, he’ll either upset Orchard, who was instrumental in getting Dion the leadership in the first place, or Goodale, a senior Liberal. Either way, look for the war within the Liberal party to resume shortly.
All the Mulroney/Schreiber scandal has given Dion is a chance to hide. Sooner or later, he has to emerge from the bunker and try to lead his party. It won’t be pretty.
Doesn’t everybody else find David Orchard kind of ‘creepy’? I mean besides his political wackiness, just his personal demeanor and visage seem to me, unsettling.
Dion may come to rue the day he ever embraced a loose cannon like Orchard. If Orchard is barred from running, who knows what antics he’ll engage in to even the score.

You too huh? Creepy is the word I’ve heard most often from non-supporters when describing him. There’s something about the man that one can’t seem to put a thumb on.
Orchard is weird enough to run for the NDP. He’d fit in perfectly.
the Green’s can have him.
Dion should support the democratic will of the riding association. If this woman is so great, I am sure she can get enough people to sign up and support her.
If the Liberal Party can accept Bob Rae, Garth Turner, Keith Martin and Ujjal Dosanjh, why can’t they accept Orchard?
Having Orchard on the ticket can remind people about what a big tent the Liberal Party is, as opposed to the narrow views of the Harperites.
Besides, wasn’t Orchard one of the key people who got Dion elected as leader, with delegates not only Saskatchewan, but from Alberta, BC and Ontario?
Dion cannot be seen to be just like McKay.
Dijon, Wackey and Karwacki on a beer run to the border.
Good times.
Rather than being a parasite in another party, trying to feed off and control the host, why doesnt DO form his own party and build it the old fashioned way.
Manning did it….why cant Orchard? Might be because he would poll below the yogic flyers and likely end up in personal bankruptcy from bankrolling the venture.
I hope he stays in the Liberal party….they were fools for embracing him. And so would the NDP or Greens be when the parasite moves to the next host.
“Wacky and Karwacki.”
I guess the Liberals were dumb enough to take him in they would be dumb enough to let him run under there banner

It’s the spacing between his eyes. It is similar to the birth defect caused by FAS. The eyes are too far apart. Gives him a weird look.
Orchard and Dijon..lemee get my beer and popcorn.
This aoughta be good!!!!!
Yup. Weirdsmobile.
God you think Orchard looks wierd, Ingy could make a good living haunting house’s.
Right wingers have to resort to ad hominem attacks on Orchard because of this:

It has been reported that the former NDP government used $1.1 million of taxpayers money for political advertising, without appropriation by the Legislative Assembly in the Department of Health. A deputy minister, for this, and probably many other reasons too numerous to mention, was let go as a result by the incoming government.
“Calvert says he had no problem using 1.1 million of taxpayers money to defend his former government against Saskatchewan Party criticism. He says the debate now should be on how the new government plans to improve health care. ”
— CTV News report
Should the Attorney General refer this misuse of taxpayers money to an out-of-province prosecutor for review as to whether fraud and/or breach of
trust charges be laid against the Deputy Minister that authorized this spending?
The NDP’s political prosecutors had no problem going after MLA’s who skimmed $5k off their expense accounts — so the NDP and the former Deputy Minister of Health should be held to account for using Her Majesty’s money without the legislative authority to do so.
I concur: creepy indeed. I once sat in on a meeting with DO and everyone who was in the room after he left were all smitten with the impression that he left a screw back in his car (or flying saucer… whatever he got to the meeting in).
Hey, but Nixon was creepier… and look how he ended up…
Cheers!

I recommend http://www.getpaint.net/ for all your “photoshopping” needs. It’s free, has an active user base that creates special effects plug-ins and you don’t have to use that pirated version of the Adobe product to make your funny pictures.
Apparently they now have a new blue/green screen feature where users can easily insert themselves (or disliked others) into images. Hilarity ensues, I predict.
