The Canadian Islamic Congress […] know damn well themselves about the power of demographics as they keep track of Muslim populations in Canada and plan accordingly.
Prior to the 2004 elections the Canadian Islamic Congress issued a report (Elections 2004: Towards Informed and Commited Voting – pdf ) to their members. They had recognized their new found political clout due to changing demographics (example – second largest voting bloc in Ottawa) from compiled census data and noted that Muslims represented a swing vote in 101 electoral districts.
The Canadian Islamic Congress graded each of the 301 elected MP’s according to various domestic and international issues which included closer ties to Muslim countries, review’s of the anti-terrorism legislation and getting rid of security certificates. Members were urged to vote for those with the highest grade.
You aren’t allowed to mention this in polite company because, as every good progressive* will remind you – Islam is a race.

It always amazes me how people can be so blind to the inherent evil (human abuses) within Muslim society even with the mountains of evidence throughout the world. From Pakistan to the Middle East, from Europe though to South East Asia, hundreds of credible daily reports can be found. Yet people still defend this grotesque cult as having a place or replacement quality within our western societies. Couple the easily attained global facts (not from Canadian censored sources) along with the local urban problems we all face and it’s beyond belief to me that so many “real” Canadians find it acceptable.
Particular cultural practices compound the atrocities worldwide and fuel the inherent Islamic hatred of us and yet we still bow in submission as demanded. What happened?
My guess is that too many people blew their minds on drugs in the sixties then decided though their clouded LSD and brainwashed university indoctrinated minds that the stairway to heaven was though a masochistic destruction of all that is good in our society.

Yes I would like North America and Europe to remain mostly white societies! Why? Because we now only represent +/-10% of the global overpopulation and there’s nowhere left for us to go as an endangered species.
Racist? No! I have far more personal friends of color than I do white, mostly due to the nature of my work, where I’ve lived, and where I frequently travel.
Christian country? No, all matters of government need to be separate from religion because you never know what religion is in vogue this century.
What I object to the most is how anyone can think that great functioning societies like ours can be bettered with the influence of critically dysfunctional ones.

Todd, I too have a friend named Raj, but not sure if he works at Domino’s.
I have too have travelled a bit with my Mom to Isreal, Egypt, Western and Eastern Europe and the States. I have agree with Todd that a blanket statement of Muslim’s in France comparing to Raj is unfair.

The CIC complaint against Maclean’s is frivolous and will rightly be rejected at the hearings in June.
Having said that, if the CIC complain is idiotic, then so is DMB’s (and by extension, Kate’s) attempt to discredit the CIC’s election report. They had as much right to urge those who would listen to them to vote in a particular way during the ’04 election as Kate did during the Sask vote last month. Sort of the whole premise of democracy.
