Can Canada’s Water Be Exported To Bush’s Amerikkka? An Experiment.

Guest post by the Honourable Stéphane Dion, Leader of the Official Opposition

After consulting many many experts, I set up the the following experiment using standard garden hose to represent a continent wide drainage system.
My garden’s topography is a close representation of the geography of the North American continent. The grass had been cut by my gardener to an even height of 5cm. Note this hose is easily bendable, has no significant rigidity, and was not reinforced in any way. The hose was spliced and secured by green duct tape.

  1. Mr Deyawn, You would think if Bush wanted our water so bad he wouldn’t be draining Devils Lake ND into lake Winnipeg. He would build a pipline and pump it somewhere else. You are so far gone on this one I hope your drones can even figure this nose strecher out.

  2. At last years meeting, all the press commented on was the jacket PMSH wore. I said weeks ago that all decisions and communiques have been written and agreed upon before these leaders ever meet. Susan of cbc just said the same thing, when reporting on the upcoming press conference to end the meetings.
Just a question. How many jobs, union and non union, do those CEOs meeting with the leaders provide in Canada and the USA. And the protesters want to eliminate these jobs.

  3. “By focusing on the vulgarity of fringe politics and offering sophistry instead of information on the issue at hand, the MSM has proven to me to be a negative force in public awareness on large issues that effect national changes.”
Great quote WLMR. Unfortunately, we are stuck with those bufoons for now. It is what it is. Even a cursory look at MSM reporting on military matters proves what a bunch of biased ignoranmuses most of them are. They are woefully ignorant on most/all matters, including security, economics and our extraterritorial arrangements.
Oh wait, they seem to do a good job of reporting on fashion! Sigh. Like I said we are stuck with these nimrods, luckily the blogosphere is here so they can’t turn our elections into horseraces, with them deciding the issues for electors.

  4. Many in the MSM have their email address at the bottom of their stories.
As long as the email is no longer than three paragraphs, they usually reply.

  5. all arguments aside, we are both pumping all we can from the great lakes, or at least all we need at this point in time.

  6. NO! Don’t do it…
The American’s will grow to expect it, and then they’ll invade Canada if we threaten to cut off the supply.
The Americans are greedy and will take what they want!

  7. Dion is now defending Canadian sized jellybeans rather than standardize to the bigger market size American jellybean.
“We shall not allow the standardization to or importation of the American jellybean! First the jellybean, then our sovereignty under SPP.”, proclaimed Dion.
Canadian sovereignty is at stake according to the Liberal party, who are promising to never concede the Canadian jellybean to the American jellybean!!

  8. The MSM have no easy information handed them regarding every little detail of this meeting of the Leaders, so they’re making stuff up. They’re used to getting every little detail including the menus for the meals.
Dion is making stuff up, conspiracy style, he needs to get his act together.
Why a CTV host would refer to Harper as a Lapdog for Bush is puzzling but so typical. He better find some new material for his made up critique, that line is worn out.
Myron: would the US use more water to produce the larger jellybeans?
Is the world gone mad or just the Canadian Media?

  9. “Dasani (owned by Coca-Cola) is filtered municipal tap water, bottled in Brampton, Ont., and Calgary. (Pepsi owns Aquafina, which is also sourced from municipalities.)”
    […]
“Two of the largest bottled water sellers, Coca-Cola and Pepsi … The unprecedented demand for their products increases demand for public water, which they purchase at a substantially lower price than households are asked to pay.”
It appears that we are already selling our water to Bush. But it’s OK … he is selling it back to Canadians.
