There’s a chance that the next Liberal candidate will be a competent, realistic and principled individual.
That unfortunately is somewhat less than 1 chance in 6 billion…

There’s a chance that… the Federal Liberal party will publicly admit its former transgressions, conduct an independent internal audit and return the money stolen during the Adscam fiasco. It will then publicly appologise for its behaviour and vow to never call itself Canada’s natural governing party again.

Your good intentions aside – you folks aren’t quite getting the hang of this.
You have to find “bright sides” that are the equivalent of having David Orchard in your party.

Theres a chance that suddenly the 80% of Canadians that don’t like Dion will change their minds when they “really” get to know him.

There is a chance that David Suzuki could come wheeling into the Calgary Stampede on a Harley to go on stage, doff his cowboy hat while sniffing into his bandana, to grovel and apologize to Stephen Harper for his (Suzuki’s) mistakes, and begging to join the Conservative Party.
