It turns out we didn’t entirely scrub the stain out the Krauts. We just turned them into PC racists. There is something pathetic, when the once mighty and feared Wehrmacht, now the declawed and idle Bundewehr, is reduced to swearing in English about imagined enemies they will never encounter … except maybe around the American bases that have protected them for the last 60-odd years … unlike the actual enemies they are ignoring at their own doorstep.

That video is awesome! The Krauts obviously absorbed a sense of humour through osmosis.
German arrogance ranks up there with the British and Dutch. Their biggest problem stems from their institutionalized ignorance / brainwashing.
Fifteen years ago I was hosting a group of German journalists on a tour of forestry operations over Northern Vancouver Island. Their preconceived notions of which were Green Peace-produced images and narratives of total devastation (at that time, and possibly still, Green Peace International’s largest funding source was the German auto workers union’s – payroll deduction). After one day of seeing-is-believing they were of a significantly different opinion (quote: “We have been lied to”). On that issue, they were no different than your average (open-minded) Canadian or American.
A good friend of mine chose to go to Germany after high school (here in Canada) to do his military service. He was not at all a militarist – he just liked the idea of the challenge of the training and the idea of service. His experiences in the German army, as related on his return, were very positive. He said that racism and fascistic comments (i.e. comments about prowess in the field during the last war, comments about the Nazi regime etc) were exceptionally rare as the men knew these would always be dealt with severely.
As to this video: I won’t make excuses for it. In the interests of perspective though, I will note that it would appear (from the clips of training/hazing videos one can view online from Canada to the Russian Federation) that this sort of brutalisation is a common though unfortunate part of the process of transforming a civilian into a soldier. However, NCOs can often cross the line as they have done in this instance.
Easily offended people shouldn’t watch soldiers in training. The risk of non-PC utterances is rather high regardless of nationality. I don’t think the Bundeswehr is exceptional this way.
There is a strange irony in all of this. The people working hardest to cut the balls out of the white man now are those that the white man saved years ago from annihilation.
Coming from the Huns side, I think the appropriate phrase is
“SCHWEINEHUNDE!!”
Loosely translated as pig dog or colloquially as
‘SONS OF BITCHES’
There is a visual imagery conveyed in a muck raking pig rolling in its own offal. The image conveyed is one who is mired in their own corruption.
Some of the more delightful “Schimpf woerter” (swear words) lose a little in translation.
The Feldwebel would have correctly identified the ‘enemy’ as:
“ACHTUNG, SCHWEINEHUNDE!!”
Unfortunately, the german fascination with ‘anglisizing’ even their Schimph worter is going too far!
This is almost as stupid as replacing the word “Schwerbehindert” / Disabled with the word
‘gehandicapped’.

Hilarious video. The instructor / nursemaid deserved to be dismissed for such insipid gun training. The trainee was messing up & was asked, “aren’t you forgetting something?” instead of being punished. (Pushups or even a kick.)
Miltary training involves very bad language; always; everywhere.

Uh. It’s more or less been said here already, but I’ll re-iterate: the military sense of humour is not suitable for the consumption of most civilians. Here’s a few examples of fire-orders I’ve heard given during my career:
“Range 500 meters, baby carriage traversing left to right! Go on!”
“LAV at 400 meters. Dismounting nuns! Rapid rate, fire!”
“Reference centre of access! Gaggle of refugees! All guns engage!”
Ofcourse, the new PC army tends to discourage these types of jokes, precisely because it looks so bad when someone uploads a clip of it to YouTube. But anyone calling out such fire-orders is not doing so out of spite, malice, or hidden racist tendencies – it’s done primarily as a way to break the monotony of repetitive training.

P.S. If you think US soldiers themselves haven’t joked often about cleaning out the Bronx OBUA style, you’re sadly mistaken. I know Canadian (Toronto) boys like to joke about doing armed patrols through Jane and Finch. Doesn’t mean we’re ever going to do it, or that we have a desire to shoot Canadian civilians, or that we’re racist. It’s just a sense of humour that’s unique to the combat arms.
This video is so tame that I’m confused to why the msm made it such a big deal. I’m sorry but the Bronx is a third world country in the US and I would not dare even visit it. And I doubt alot of others would feel safe there either. The thought of the bronx envokes fearful feelings the world over so I’m not surprized the instructor used this as inspiration. The fact that the majority of the population in the Bronx is African-american just makes you wonder how the Bronx got this reputation. I’m sorry if you’re offended by this but people make their own reputation.

Swearing as an art doesn’t travel well from language to language, best left to the language of origin. That’s lame, but, I take offense at imaginarily firing on my fellow citizens and the appalling racism of it. Bet these jerks would never call out firing orders with Muslims as the targets. Using black Americans as a proxy to sanitize their pc incorrectness and racism is disgusting.
