The Whitest Person on Earth

A survey done by Wikipedia was recently completed, the results are conclusive, when polled people voted [her] as possibly the whitest woman on earth.
A Baptist choir in Twin Fork, Georgia all agreed, she’s white, really super blinding kinda white and she sings like it.

  1. Was I ever out on this one. My guess was Tammy Faye Bakker. But I should have figured it out because at least I don’t get the hurling urge when I hear Tammy Faye.

  2. “Whitest … and the HOTTEST!”
You’ve got to be kidding me, that would be like scr*wing a bag of antlers.

  3. Celine jumped into my mind, then I thought it was the old Robin Williams joke – Casper Weinberger.

  4. LOL!
    I guessed!
It wasn’t the being voted the whitest that gave it away, it was the being soulless–the being “really super blinding kinda white and she sings like it”–that tipped me off. It’s the “and she sings like it” that immediately brought Celine to my mind’s eye.
Poor Celine. She can belt it out like a trooper, but when you look into those eyes, they’re vacant. Maybe it’s the toll that being the sole support of her family since the age of 13 has taken on her. And her groomer/husband, who’s been a bit of a burden, as well.
Whatever it is, I don’t envy her her multi-million $$$ pile in Vegas. You can’t buy class and you can’t buy soul, so despite everything else she’s got, Celine’s really a poor little rich girl.

  5. It may be comedy but it is racist and very contemptible. She does sing beautifully in her own style, her voice is a musical instrument, there’s all kinds of souls. They article pointedly does not mention the race of Minister Roy Washington and the Baptist choir in Twin Fork, Georgia, but I’m sure they have their own distinct style of singing too.

  6. So, anon., how come you throw the “racist” card at people who have expressed the opinion that Celine Dion is soulless?
What a sissy you are. Expressing opinions is not being racist. Do you have to be French to say something negative about Celine?
Or black to say something negative about Michael or Jesse Jackson?
You’re pretty thin-skinned, anon., to be accusing people on this thread of racism. Whoops. Do I have to be thin-skinned, too, to accuse YOU of being thin-skinned?
IMO, anon, you’d better get a life. Either that, or stay inside. Outdoors might be too adventuresome for you.

  7. Gee, I thought the article was saying she’s the “whitest woman on earth”, “white”, and “really super blinding kinda white whitest person on Earth”. That’s a little more tangible than some vague concept of “soul”. What is the “soul” she lacks anyway? Is it related to black gospel singing? Is it because she’s so white she has no soul? That’s a good one, hardeharhar.
    white=no soul.
So for this outrageous point of view I get a retarded typist calling me a “sissy” and “thin-skinned” and I’m told to “get a life”.
Suck on this, ‘been around the blockhead.

  8. Lots of white women have soul, just not Celine Dion.
Nothing racist here. Just opinion. Last time I looked, freedom of expression was still allowed in Canada.

  9. If you are gonna challange someone anon, at least have the balls to come out from behind the anon moniquer.

  10. Soul to me means passion.
Celine Dion is passionate and a passionate singer – we would not buy her albums otherwise – a cold voice not matter how good will not sell. I personally don’t own any of her stuff just because I’m not into that music.
I thought she did a good job at the Academy Awards. I actually did not like the song but it was her job to interprete a song by Morricone to commemorate and celebrate him as a great film composer (he did a lot of good stuff – including the great Clint Eastwood stuff).
Most soul music you hear has about as much passion as my driveway. I get sick of all that silly Jennifer Hudson stuff – because everyone with supposed soul sings that way and they have absolutely zero passion. They couldn’t tap dance their way out of a paper bag (and tap dancing is actually Irish).

  11. Having said that Dion has no soul, I have to admit that she does seem to be a kind person. That counts for a lot.

  12. Celine simply fails to resonate with me.
Obviously there are many who do relate to her.
Leyona Boyd is the whitest guitarist.
She knows all the chords and plays with mechanical perfection, yet I am left cold.
Queen Elizabeth likes her though. Count me a commoner, I guess. = TG
