There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done.
Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung..
Nothing you can say but you can learn how to play the game.
It’s easy..
There’s nothing you can make that can’t be made..
No one you can save that can’t be saved..
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be in time.
It’s easy..
All you need is love, all you need is love,.
All you need is love, love, love is all you need..
Love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love, love..
All you need is love, all you need is love,.
All you need is love, love, love is all you need..
There’s nothing you can know that isn’t known.
Nothing you can see that isn’t shown.
Nowhere you can be that isn’t where you’re meant to be.
It’s easy.
All you need is love, all you need is love,
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.
All you need is love (all together now)
All you need is love (everybody)
All you need is love, love, love is all you need.

“And if she ends up getting his offered $50 million — one-thirtieth, people, of his estimated worth — what sort of message does that send to women who are continuing to fight to be equals to men in business and in life?”
Are you saying, Libby Raoul, that $50,000,000 is an amount to sniff at. Equality, schmequality. $50,000.000 would put Heather Mills way ahead of most people, male or female, in England–or anywhere else for that matter.
I made the first post here and admitted that I felt sorry for her. She’s way over her head here. I don’t think that Paul is a particularly nice guy, but I think it would be good for both of them, especially for the sake of their daughter, to bury the hatchet and get on with their lives.
If Heather Mills can’t live an extremely good life with $50,000,000, then I won’t cry any tears for her.
BTW, I harldy see very few “attacks” of Heather Mills on this post, a few, but not many. ‘Care to back up your allegations of “attacks” and then count the total number of attack posts and give us a percentage?
whoops, omit “hardly” in first sentence of last paragraph
So now not being a Beatles fan somehow translates people into destroying the fabric of today’s society? give me a break! Sounds like a lefty dipper type of logic to me.
Although, if Frank thinks that Robertj might have a genetic abnormality, he might have a point 😉
For those who lack a sense of humour, that was a joke, eh.
well tex, in fact the entire human species is falling victim to genetic abnormalities.
dna may have some repair capability but it diminishes with the individual as it ages, thus falling victim in some cases eventually.
also, the entire species is gradually losing this self repair capability and the abnormalities simply propagate thru time and location.
fun stuff eh?
the worst my genes did was give me severe acne. luckily the majority of the scarring is on my back for some reason, not the face.
I am currently in discussions with the tattoo artist who put the scripture reference on my rt thigh as to technical and artistic issues related to doing a huge work to camoflage the acne scarring on my back. he thought it was funny when I told him I have no nerve endings left inside the most serious scar pits. the pus it seems ate them for lunch at the time.
as far as the beatles, collectively I wasnt much attracted to their music. individually I thought lennon was creative, george very intruiging and ringo had the forthrightness and honesty to admit he just lucked in and wasnt a particularly exceptional drummer.
paul was always and still is a consummate snot nose pr*ck. remember when lennon had been dead for a while he went around changing the song credits from the traditional familiar ‘lennon mccartney’ to ‘mccartney lennon’? what a f*khead.
John Lennon doesn’t inspire people to become more than they are. His definition of love has all the ambition of 1969’s “Bed-in for Peace” yawn-a-rama. Maybe that’s why lefty U.N. supporters enthusiastically revere his limpbrained musical fantasies like world anthems…why get the world out of “neutral” if we can just accept it.
People that think all you need is Lennon’s version of love must get pretty disappointed when they find out Pat Benatar’s “Love is a battlefield” is closer to the truth. Any wonder why the U.N.’s road is only paved with good intentions instead of concrete results…any wonder where that “pot” holed road is leading?
Real love is created by the sacrifice of those that give it. There can’t be lasting love without solid commitment, blood, sweat and tears (any parents know what I’m talking about?). Love’s not just some fluffy air-headed temporary eurphoric blue smoke. It’s so much bigger than the pathetic muscial lipservice given by pothead John. Pity he didn’t live long enough to grow up and find that out.
Keith Richards once quipped — I paraphrase —
“All you need is love? Try paying the rent with it.”
Those lyrics … positively Shakespearean, befitting the leftist intellectual heritage from the 60’s!
Dire Straits, Supertramp, or Pink Floyd:
Henry – put in Led Zep instead of ST and you have my all-star team.
(ST would be in the top 10, though)
“What Kate? No post on Israel’s failure to honour the cease fire, I’m disappointed”
You know, twits who don’t read before spouting off really don’t deserve a reply… but…
If you scroll down, way down… or, rather, the next post below this one there’s a remark explaining I was out this weekend. In my case, “on the road” generally means out of range of news, telephones, email and anything remotely related to current events.
I did win a Best Puppy In Show today, though.
Thanks for asking. Now – voulez vouz couchez avec yourself.
Good to hear from you, Kate.
Congratulations on your puppy! Well done. (I guess this site and puppies have a few things in common!)
Seems to be no shortage of mercenary little tarts ready to prey on aging pop idols….ahhh human nature, ain’t it grand?
Sir Paul is singing a differnt “silly love song” today
How’s that old Cole Porter jazz ballad go?..
Love for sale,
Appetising young love for sale.
Love that’s fresh and still unspoiled,
Love that’s only slightly soiled,
Love for sale.
Who will buy?
Who would like to sample my supply?
Who’s prepared to pay the price,
For a trip to paradise?
Love for sale
Was the trip worth the price Sir Paul??
See ya on the ice flowes next year alone?
Can’t say I feel sorry for Sir Paul…….
