Oddly enough, it actually illuminates this thread, although it references the real world. Orwell used the term “thought crime”; we call it political correctness run amok.
I’d just like to pipe up for a moment or two and say:
There are many, many things infinitely more critically important than the obsession and fixation with homosexuality and all that stuff and its artificialities and irrelevancies that the left, the Liberals and Democrats, Hollywood, the MSM, the courts, etc. have insidiously forced upon civilization over the past few decades, particularly since the early Nineties.
It’s time to move on to important stuff. Society’s obsession and fetish for all things sexual is not in its interest. If we don’t get serious about prosperity, law and order, the threats of terrorism and of malevolent nuclear-armed regimes, the crumbling of the always-beneficial traditional family, etc., then civilization as we know it today will have brought, via its dangerous, destructive, devil-may-care hedonistic decadence, its undoing upon itself by focussing on sex, sex, sex instead of being on guard against the dangers posed by Communist China, North Korea, Ahmadinejad’s Iran, the new Hamastan (formerly known as “Palestine”), etc., etc.
Do people want to turn Western civilization into a brainlessly oblivious sitting-duck fornicatorium or do they want to get ready to ensure they don’t lose the next World War or get ready to shoot down nuclear-armed ICBMs carrying the destructive force of a million Hiroshimas before they land on densely-packed population centers?
Don’t people see it coming? Notice how the left keeps saying we don’t need a military, border guards don’t need guns, etc.? Does the left have a death wish for Western civilization?
It’s time for a return to conservatism, which we know from history, works and builds Western civilization. After all, the Middle East remains basically in the Dark Ages due to its rejection of all things Western.
If the Western World allows itself to be destroyed by the forces of evil, then the entire planet will return to the Dark Ages. That would be the fault of the left and all who ignored their very real dangerousness.
Time to smarten up… before it’s too late, which I hope it isn’t…

Two bloggers who need to be challenged, factually, consistently and relentlessly: Small Dead Animals and Angry in the Great White North. They’ve already gotten the attention of the mainstream media and they are doing real, material damage to public discourse when it comes to leftist issues.
