Should we be surprized that the PM is lying again??

“CTV News’ Ottawa Bureau Chief Robert Fife reports that the Prime Minister knew of the negotiations.”
Selective release to the media – smart move lads
Mr. Martin has denied that an offer was made to entice Grewal and his wife, who is an MP, to defect or abstain from the vote.
No offer was made — that means no offer was made, the Prime Minister has told the House of Commons.

Anal expulsive one, you are in denial.
Mr. Gilles Duceppe (LaurierSainte-Marie, BQ): Mr. Speaker, Tim Murphy, the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, apparently contacted the Conservative member for NewtonNorth Delta about a political appointment if the latter abstained from voting during the confidence vote. Part of the conversation was aired on CTV on May 18. Yet, the Prime Minister refused to say in this House if it was his chief of staff speaking.
Since the conversation has now been widely reported, can the Prime Minister now confirm that it was indeed his chief of staff on the recording?
Right Hon. Paul Martin (Prime Minister, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, I have not heard the recording. The hon. member knows full well that there were discussions. I can repeat that, one, it was the hon. member for NewtonNorth Delta who approached the government and, two, that no offer was made.
Mr. Gilles Duceppe (LaurierSainte-Marie, BQ): Mr. Speaker, the transcript in The Hill Times speaks for itself. Tim Murphy appears to have said that before the Conservative member abstained there was not much point in specifically discussing Senate appointments, but afterward they would be free to talk about it. Tim Murphy appears to have tempted the hon. member for NewtonNorth Delta with a political appointment in exchange for his support for the government.
Does the Prime Minister realize that such behaviour is subject to prosecution under section 119 of the Criminal Code?
Right Hon. Paul Martin (Prime Minister, Lib.): Mr. Speaker, I repeat: no offer was made and it was the hon. member for NewtonNorth Delta who approached us, period.

Martin is exposed as a fraud, liar, cheat, briber, confidence-man… = Liberal.
Liberal = Criminal.
Let the world see this Martin = Liberal = criminal.
“Shitstirrer” – I was referring to commentors on this blog. Nonetheless, I provided a link to the CTV story. Pay attention.
This is the first time that Martin has been directly implicated in illegal behaviour (thank God it doesn’t require corroboration from a dead witness this time).
People have different ways of deciding how they vote. For some, it’s the party & platform. For some, it’s the quality of the local candidates. But for many people, their vote is all about which party leader they identify the most with, which may in part explain why Harper and the Conservatives have not gained from Liberal corruption. Martin has avoided direct personal implication in scandal up until now; this latest revelation may turn the tide.
Expect the media to start lambasting Harper again if the Libs take a hit because of this. It happens every time a new Liberal bombshell is released…by tomorrow or Thursday there will be another media effort to ensure that Harper doesn’t gain from this latest revelation.
Also, does it surprise anyone that Murphy’s discussion with Grewal about how they could coach the defection sounds exactly like how Belinda defected? 3rd party involved as a go-between…express discomfort with Harper’s leadership…my riding doesn’t want an election. Belinda was even mentioned in the already released portion of the tape.
These tapes are about more than Grewal, they also cast Belinda’s defection in a new light. This should also be investigated.
As reported, the deal was ‘like the one offered Belinda’, which means that Stick Chick’s apparent 11th-hour, Joan of Arc-type ephiphany was also a lie. She was bought and paid for weeks ago. Good move by the Tories to withhold the tape. They are being advised by a well-respected punjabi lawyer here in B.C., who also arranged transcription of the tapes. This is very telling in itself. The RCMP received $2 million in sponsorship money which they hid in a Quebec bank account. The Tories obviously wanted the tapes independently transcribed and copied before handing them over to the RCMP, which would have likely released a Liberal-friendly version of events. This way, there can be no misinterpretation of events. Grewal would not have taped his own actions if his intent had been anything other than to show up the Liberals. Nice one, Gurmant.
Iron Lady, there is talk these tapes will be handed over to the RCMP once translated. I think they should be made public first. Otherwise if they are just given to the RCMP the Libs wont answer any questions, they will just say its under investigation. What do you think??
You know what it is going to take for the Liebrals to go down in the polls? It is going to take a confession on National TV by PM saying that he is a crook and a thief and that he has lied about everything from the start of his PMship. Even then those stupid Ontario Liberals will still feel sorry for him and vote for him. The West is f___d both ways.
Mike, they’re being release simultaneously, or so I understand. That means the public will hear what the RCMP are hearing. I think that’s a good move, if in fact, that’s how it pans out. The last thing we need is this kind of evidence being filtered by the RCMP. It’s bad enough that the media put their own spin on things. I’m willing to bet the Tories will even have it up on their website to ensure unfiltered access for all of us. That way, we won’t get dribs and drabs from Liberal-friendly media (which is pretty much the majority of media in this country). And I think the PM will be forced to come clean or look like a total idiot. Watch for another infomercial begging and pleading for forgiveness. I don’t think there’s much sympathy left, even in Ontario where they’re still pissed with Stick Chick’s lies and betrayal.
Latest on Grewal tapes to be released today

Everybody sing
“Goodbye Ujall….gooodbye Ujall, goodbye Ujall its so sad to see you go…….”
Then we can take up a round of goodbye tim…
If they are worth their salt they will take one for the PM….assuming of course the language backs up the rumours. We shall see if Mt Simpson is able reverse the flow of lava and noxious fumes surrounding his pronouncements on this issue, along with all of the other commentators who have tried to paint this as nothing worth talking about at best and at worst an indication of COnservative treachery, “how DARE they tape an attempted bribe!”
The tapes shoould also be given to interpol and the FBI and as many other law enforcement agencies around the world as possible.
