  1. Damn you, Kate. My left lung is half full of Diet Dr Pepper after reading this at exactly the worst moment and having a laughing fit.

  2. Oddly enough, I agree 100%–there are fine cheeses, and then there are serviceable, friendly cheeses which are welcome on any plate; there isn’t much overlap. Somebody’s culinary education has been tragically neglected.

  3. Hell, until I was 12, there were only two cheeses that existed as far as I knew – Velveeta and Whiz.
    The latter, spread on hot buttered toast, is still my most favourite food.
