An amateur, natural gas-defaming propaganda “report” by six motley Rockefeller-backed researchers captures global media attention – how does this happen?

An sad and infuriating tale of how a brazen, foreign-funded band of activists under the guise of a US-government-designated 501C(3) nonprofit organization pens a “report” on how natural gas is just as bad as coal for the environment. Most stunning of all, or not at all for the jaded, the main stream media lapped it up and spewed it everywhere without reservation. Time to fight back…

  1. Wind turbines and solar panels leak lots of energy, but even more of taxpayer dollars.
Neither of them can stand on their own commercially without massive government subsidies.
There is no bridge between solar/wind and natural gas and other fossil fuels.
It’s a choice between cheap power and expensive power that impoverishes economies. IOW it’s one or the other, not both.
That’s what they have in store for the 3rd world, to ensure it stays poor, and us is we don’t exorcise them with our votes.

    1. “Govt” subsidies..??

I think NOT. Those subsidies are paid for by massive increases in ones Electrial Bill as “riders” and the 100% + increase to the overall price per/kwhr they use. I lived that bullshit and returned to Alberta 3 ys after leaving because of it.

Just ask any Ontarian….Who got totally SCREWED By Mr Butts Green Energy Plan.

  2. “But whether the Constitution really be one thing, or another, this much is certain – that it has either authorized such a government as we have had, or has been powerless to prevent it. In either case it is unfit to exist.”

― Lysander Spooner, No Treason: The Constitution of No Authority

I took a stab at modifying the 1776 American Declaration of Independence, a brilliant document announcing the divorce of thirteen nation states from London, to present standards of governance, moral malpractice and cowardice; I discovered that much would be left out on the cutting floor and severe alterations to verbiage would be necessary to keep the Homo Sovieticus Booboisie in America from filling their pants and gibbering in abject fear at the prospect of freedom with risks and costs not underwritten by their neighbors.

  3. That part of the institutional left that masquerades as media has been vanguarding the anti-industrial revolution for at least fifty years. Hysteria sells and that thankfully dying guild knows it can still create fear even when the sources are as sketchy as this. No one will check their numbers, at least no one who will be reported. There is no good science that doesn’t conclude that decarbonization without nuclear or some other reliable source is de-industrialization. Hysteria sells but does the accompanying poverty and the filthy energy alternatives sell? As Patrick Moore says, in a carbon free energy mix, there wouldn’t be a tree left on the planet within two years.

    1. There wouldn’t be a tree left on the planet in two years.

      Great point.

      A) on google maps the forest contrast between Haiti and Dominican Republic is striking.

B). When I lived in NS my neighbourhood had electric heat. Everybody had wood stoves, usually in the family room / kitchen area. And they used them a lot. In winter the pall of wood smoke used to hang heavily over the neighbourhood.

    2. “That part of the institutional left that masquerades as media has been vanguarding the anti-industrial revolution for at least fifty years.”

John, you put your finger on exactly what the long term aim of these people is. Whether they realized it or not they are shilling for some form of warped Malthusian utopia to take our society back to a postindustrial age. The culmination of this would ultimately result in the deaths of 100s of millions if not quite a few billion. We have more than one of them discuss the need to take back the earth’s human population to 1 billion. Canada and other northern climes would become some sort of pristine park inhabited almost exclusively only by indigenous people and visited by those more equal than the few remaining serfs.

      1. If ya listened to Gerald Butts back when he was with the WWF, in a video he CLEARLY states that the Planet can only “sustain” 1 Billion or less souls.

Funny how its the LEFT that uses the word “sustain” – “sustainability” …. it means they want the majority of us DEAD…..so they may enjoy the fruits of the 999,995,000 Serfs that remain.

  4. “the main stream media lapped it up and spewed it everywhere without reservation”

That’s because the MSM consists of low-paid and unskilled 25 year-old liberal-arts grads who can’t write re-typing press releases.

These “articles” are then “edited” by low-paid and unskilled 28 year-old liberal-arts grads who can’t edit.

They are then approved by low-paid and unskilled 30 year-old liberal-arts grads with titles like “Senior Science Editor” whose only skill is to hit “Upload”.

If innumeracy was as socially unacceptable as illiteracy, we could maybe do something about the fact that most people have zero math skills. If they had better math, they’d be less afraid of what the MSM is pushing (whatever it is), and perhaps a little more afraid of what the MSM ignores.
