Disingenuous world leaders STARTED giving $ to “green” causes, which begets “green” causes demanding MORE $$$$. This whole charade should NEVER have been started. The whole charade is built on an entirely FALSE premise.
The “green” “global warming” charade is similar to the marijuana charade. Legalized marijuana STARTED with the “moral” and “ethical” argument that POT is … medicine. No it’s not. OK … yes, it is a medicine in the same way alcohol is a medicine which simply dulls your senses and makes you “forget” your pains. After the camels nose of medical marijuana slipped into the tent, and every kid in my neighborhood had a medical marijuana card and bought their dope in the open daylight. Without Mom or dad’s approval. Once that happened, then everyone shrugged and said WTH!? might as well legalize it.
A similar thing is happening with “green” policies and “global warming”. The FAKE narrative has penetrated the consciousness of the public, and now it’s time for BIG GREEN to double-down on their hysteria. So now it is a “moral” imperative to “go green”. Which means … forcing you into EXPENSIVE behaviour, taxes, and energy generation … for the “good” of the planet. Rubbish. The entire premise is Rubbish. Now, the FALSE premise is a distant memory, while we squabble about how many $dollars we will give up … to “save the children”. Puhleeze?
The moral of the story is to NEVER accept FALSE premises … no matter how warm and fuzzy they sound. Once you’ve bought the lie … then It is only a matter of how much $$$$ the government will nick off the citizens. Money that will all go into the pockets of their cronies, which allows them greater political power. Have we lost the ability to QUESTION EVERYTHING!? Global warming due to a small increase in a tiny fractional component (Co2) of our atmosphere is nothing more than conjecture. There IS NO PROOF of CAGW. Yet we have granted the government – through our votes – the permission to use this ruse to extract more $$$ from us. We all deserve to suffer for being so Science-illiterate.
The general public are acting like victims/followers of some cult leader like Jim Jones. Desperate to feel “saved” from some mythical threat. Cult members who freely trade everything they own for the promise of Nirvana. For Christ’s sake, have we all lost our collective minds?
Take a lesson from CA’s “high speed” train. The cultist voters of CA desperately wanted to be SAVED by a train! “Save me, Jerry!” A train with a ZERO chance of actually being built. But the “HOPE” for some “transformative” Euro-like train caused voters to say “yes”. So after $B’s have flowed into the pockets of Dianne Feinstein’s husband … the CA voters have exactly SQUAT. Economists say a carbon tax is the best way to solve climate change…

But these (industry standard) models yield vastly different results and there is disagreement. But economists all agree? A carbon tax should be somewhere between $30 and $300 per tonne. Agreement but an order of magnitude of disagreement?
Economist to mine manager: Sir, you know I told you this gold deposit has one million ounces and is worth $1.3 billion with capital cost requirements of $400 million. It actually only has 100,000 ounces or $130 million. That’s the bad news. The good news is I think we can get those capital costs down to $300 million.

If the carbon tax is to be successful there can be no alternative to fossil fuel (like nuclear). Otherwise we would just transition over and keep on trucking without a carbon tax. They (the commies in government) have thought this through. Therefore nuclear is bad and a carbon tax is the only solution.
